Playing sports with friends is fun... Hahahahahhahaha
Our teams get chosen and we get the most scruffy bats. Mine had string coming out of it and a red handle. Funny thing is that I can't hit a flying object for my life but with this bat it went across the AstroTurf. I ran all the way around and got a rounder.
Next turn I use this bat again. I miss it but run all the way. What even?
I walk to my friend and say something like: Knowing you got to the end without hitting the ball...
It fills you with DETERMINATION!
That bat is now called the determination bat and a lot of our team, when we originally played, want to use it or are annoyed/confused by our fangirl talk.
