Last goddess standing

The temple

As we neared the temple my heart started to pound, smacking against my ribs threatening to break free, If they find out who I really am they'll kill me for sure, I gulped so loud that I drew the attention of Pollux, he gave me a dazzling smile "there's nothing to worry about, Just stay calm okay?" He gave my hand a tight squeeze, as the two men led me basically to the gates of hell, I could see from a distance something big flying towards us, as soon as it got closer to my astonishment it was a Pegasus, "my day couldn't get any weirder" I whispered under my breath, it landed directly in our path, it's giant white wings beating, stirring up my hair that I gently removed from my glossed lips, Pollux and castor stepped in front of me gripping their swords ready to protect me, "are you guys serious?" I laughed so loud and hard that I ran out of breath "it's just a horse, are you guys scared?" A smile danced across my lips, castor turned to face me but still keeping an eye on the horse, "this horse has killed anyone who dare ride it" "even if you get close enough he'll just fly off" Pollux added, "so he stomps them to death or what?" I replied sarcastically, they both laughed and dropped their guard, the horse took this to his advantage and swopped right up next to me, we starred at each other for what feels like eternity then everything took a wild turn as he begun to nuzzle into my hands, I let a deep breath which I never knew I was holding, I turned to the twins and the look on their faces was priceless, I quickly took out my phone and snapped at least 6 pictures of them, "would you like these framed or no?" There Shocked faces turn into warm smiles, but the shock still remind, I could tell, when I turned back around the horse was nowhere to be seen, almost like it vanished into thin air, "huh? Well that's weird" I mumbled to myself.
When we reached the temple I felt my heart thumping against my chest again, unable to  shove my heart back where it belongs, I stepped into what feels like a shrine room, but much more elegant and Greek like, on the two far walls beside me were more than 100 people gathering to watch me, I glared behind me to find Pollux and castor joining them, each step forward feels like I'm treading in thin ice, in front of me was a, large sized glass bird bath resting on the ground, but it seems big enough to fit 3 of me "SILENCE" a cold voice boomed across the room sending sharp chills down my spine, "STEP FORWARD CHILD" his voice called out again, but I couldn't see him, I carefully walked forward until I was 30cm away from the bowl, "THIS TEST WILL DETERMINED WHO YOU ARE AND WHAT YOUR INTENTIONS ARE, PLEASE STEP INTO THE BOWL"  thankfully a recognisable face appeared in front of me "melody, what are you doing here?" My eyes darting around us, "be quiet, if they hear us talking they'll get suspicious" I glanced around examining the people around us, each one has something unique about them, melody pushed me toward the bowl and held out a hand for me to balance on, I dipped on leg into the water to feel it's as warm as the bath a had earlier, I slipped into the water and melody gave me a hopeful smile, she backed away and sat carefully next to Pollux and his brother.
As first nothing happened, the all at once the water began to rise around me, incasing me in a sphere of water, then a pictures started to dance across the water, almost like a movie, ,my thoughts were being projected so everyone could see, they saw me find the mirror to when I fell inside of it and everything in between, them it started to play scenes that haven't happened yet, "my future" I whispered.
Beautiful blue light filled the water and then a picture of me appeared,  a calm female voice unlike any thing I've ever heard Called out, "this girl is something very special, she is like no other, she is the last remaining heir goddess to the throne, which should not be taken lightly, she overthrows the king, and claims her rightful place as queen, the transmission ended and the water dropped so suddenly, I felt all eyes on me now I wish my curtin of water could hide me once more.
