Chapter 31 - Final Chapter part 2

Twenty minutes later, Akira and Shizuku both arrived at the clinic. The blonde was showing sweet gestures by opening the passenger door for the raven haired girl.

Earlier on their trip, Shizuku found the cigarettes in the dashboard. She eyed her baby's father. Akira hurriedly picked it up.

Her usual action is to hide it, instead she surprised Shizuku by throwing it on the nearby garbage.

She gave her a smile and said. "I should stop smoking now because I want to see Akiko's future more."

Her tears came falling, Shizuku is so emotional nowadays. She found Akira's simple gestures to be endearing. Her hormones affect it so much.

Shizuku stepped off with her hands holding Akira as she opened the door. They both hand in hand, walked towards the building. Akira and Shizuku were a team and totally in this pregnancy thing together.

"Shizuku Handa."

That voice broke from their thoughts. They were both sitting in the waiting room. Shizuku was smiling while watching television.

On the other hand, Akira was nervous. It was shown that she fiddles her fingers. She followed the woman who called Shizuku's name and her girlfriend into the examination room.

The woman, which they assumed the nurse, instructed Shizuku to lie down on the bed. Akira seated beside her, intertwining their hands together.

"You are nervous, Aki-chan." Shizuku pointed out Akira's hands.

"No, I'm not. " Akira turned her head and pretend she was scanning around the room.

Shizuku giggled when Akira denied she was nervous. It was a cute scene at all.

Moments later, a female doctor entered. "Hello Miss Handa. My name is Doctor Ishida. I'll be your ob-gyne. Is Sakura with you because she wants to meet the progress of her granddaughter?"

"Sumimasen Ishida-sensei. Mom can't join us today. My name is Akira Saito, her daughter." She said politely as she shook the doctor's hand.

"Nice to meet you, Akira-san. So you are the baby's father." Akira nodded.

"I see." Dr. Ishida smiled only. "So are you ready to meet your baby?" She directed that question to Shizuku. The raven haired girl nodded in confirmation.

"Please pull your dress a little." Shizuku followed the doctor's instructions. She applied a gel on her stomach, which made Shizuku hissed because of cold.

She put the transducer on, gliding it on Shizuku's wet stomach. "Okay, meet Baby Handa."

"It's Baby Saito." Shizuku corrected quickly, then she glanced at Akira. The blonde kept her eyes on the monitor, excited to see her baby.

"Sumimasen, I'll put it later on the records." Doctor Ishida said as she pressed the transducer on Shizuku's belly. On the other hand, Akira was staring at the screen lovingly. She even had an urge to press her face on the screen.

After a couple of seconds, the screen visualized the fetus. Shizuku sniffled. "I've got no idea that the baby would so be so cute. I love Akiko already.

The doctor smiled at Shizuku. She was surprised that the baby has a name already. "On this ultrasound, it appears that you are on your seventh week. The baby's hands and feet looked a paddle. They were emerging from developing arms and legs. Technically, your baby is still considered an embryo and has something.."

Akira interrupted her. "Ano, Doc. Are we having a stud? Because I can see a penis here."

Shizuku and Doctor Ishida fell silent like some angel passed on them.
