Chapter 2 - Against All Odds

Shizuku was lying in the nook of the tall blonde's shoulder. Her hands was intertwined with the blonde's hand. She lazily traced invisible patterns on the Akira's bare chest while she was deeply engrossed in her thoughts. They were currently naked with only a comforter covering them.

She glanced the blonde's elongated face which she found it handsome even when sleeping. Shizuku loved Akira's innocent burgundy eyes, her cute sharp nose, dimpled smile, unique and beautiful body. The blonde has a lean muscular but feminine body. Akira styles herself as a tomboy. Sometimes,she was mistaken for a man when she's not wearing something girly.

Currently, Akira was sound asleep after their stressful fight then followed by hot angry sex that night. The reason of their fighting, Akira just want that Shizuku to admit to the world that they were dating.

Shizuku was in fact a lesbian considering she was in a relationship with Akira. Even though the blonde has a fully functioning penis, Akira regarded herself as a woman. They were in a relationship for almost 3 years but Shizuku doesn't want to. The ravenette can't do that because of her fear.

The fear of rejection. Shizuku Handa is the beloved student council president of Kaito Academy. She ran that post just to please her father and in order for her to build a name for herself. Her father Takeshi Handa was a well respected man in Tokyo and Kyoto, her hometown. He was a strict and cold man.

Shizuku was keeping this straight facade to please her father who worked hard in order to built a reputation. She doesn't want to get to the bad side of her father. Her father hates people who defies the social norms like delinquents, free thinkers and homosexuals.

Takeshi knew the presence of Akira in their school and heard her delinquent tendencies. He was openly disgusted with her and even called her a freak. Shizuku has no guts to protect her Akira from her father and kept silent about her insults.

If she was known in the school that she was friends much more a romantic relationship with Akira, her life is over. The worst is that if her father knew, she will be disowned just like her older brother and her mother. Shizuku's brother, Takumi is older than her by four years. He fell in love to a simple girl who has no wealthy background.

Takeshi didn't approve of their relationship and he was forced to choose between his love and money. Of course, Takumi chose his girlfriend and ran away from home with nothing on his pockets.

Her mother Shizuma opposed to the idea of disowning her son. She fought with Takeshi and ran away also, finding her son. Shizuma wanted to bring her daughter along but she was blackmailed by her husband. She has no choice but to left the 12 year old Shizuku behind to her father.

After that incident, Shizuku chose not to speak about her mother and older brother. For two years,she stayed with her father until they've trasferred in Tokyo. She was a lonely girl with no friends at all.

She was happy when the blonde saved her three years ago. They've met during the start of her second year in junior high school. She was saved by the blonde when a group of boys tried to lift her skirt. Akira being an athletic girl, easily beat up those boys.

Immediately, Shizuku fell in love with her savior and confessed. Akira was surprised but nonetheless, she became her girlfriend. Akira told her that she has a crush on the ravenette and wanted to know more about her.

Akira told her also about her extra appendage. Shizuku wasn't disgusted by it and didn't mind because she was so in love with Akira and accepted her heartily. Shizuku told her ahead that they can't told anyone of their relationship because of her father. Akira agreed because its her wish.

Their relationship went to the next level when Akira brought her to a fancy dinner date on their third year anniversary. Careful not to be caught by anyone who knew them personally, they do it on a hotel room.

Since they were both 18 years old, they were not allowed to buy wine for their date. Even though without wine, that night was romantic and they ended up fulfilling their passions. It was also the night that they lost their virginity to each other.

She was disrupted from her thoughts when Akira stirred from her sleep. She moaned as she stretched her arms then she opened her eyes. She smiled as she saw the ravenette laid on her chest, placing a kiss on her forehead.

"Morning, baby love. You're up early." She smiled as she heard her nickname that they got from a song.

She wrapped her arms around her slender body. "Aki-chan?" Shizuku lifted her head, facing Akira.

"Yeah, baby love?" She faced the ravenette. "You know this is only my chance to touch your handsome face. " She confessed.

Akira smiled at the thought. "You can do that only if you allow PDA in school." She smirked.

"Don't you ever start it again, Akira Saito! I'm not in the mood." She turned her back on the blonde and separated herself from the embrace.

"What mood are we talking about?" Akira teased as she kissed her bare shoulders. She was responded by a kick causing her to fall on the bed.

Shizuku got up and started picking up all of Akira's clothing. She threw it at the blonde, only Akira dodging it. She laughed as she teased the ravenette in her spoiled brat mode.

"You're not funny, Saito!" She yelled to her.

"You know what I find my fun calling my full name when you are in your angry mode. I love you and I want the world to know that. I don't give a heck telling them that you're my girlfriend." Akira said sensibly. Shizuku hated the fact that Akira indeed made sense.

"I already told you the risk of having a relationship with me. I gave you a choice. Take it or Leave it. You chose to stay with me. You can't change the way I am. If you-"

"Don't finish that sentence. You know what if you're not in a mood. I'll go because I'm not in the mood also." Akira took all her clothes and dressed up quickly.

Without saying a word, she jumped from the window leaving her naked girlfriend alone. Shizuku glanced through her window. She saw Akira kicked the nearby garbage bin before slamming the door of her black Ford Mustang, screeching her tires in speed. This is their usual scenario for the last two months. Shizuku's eyes were full of tears from another quarrel with the love of her life.
