The fact that Mel had a boyfriend didn't surprise as much as you think it would've. She's really pretty so I figured she had to have been dating someone by now.
" Really? Who?"
" You're not upset?" Melanie asked.
" Why would I be. You deserve to be happy, Mel." I told her.
"Whose the guy?" I asked.
" Gio. Giovanny Cruise." Mel blushed.
" Whose he?" It was only my second day with Mel and she already had a boyfriend.
" He's my bodyguard on tours and stuff. He's super cute." Mel showed me a picture of him.
" I won't deny that he isn't super extremely gorgeous." I said.
" Right!" Mel said back.
" When can I meet him."
" Next week when we start our CRYBABY TOUR!" Mel screamed again.
" YOUR GOING ON TOUR!"
" YES AND YOUR COMING WITH ME TO SING BACKUP!!"
"OMG!" I literally said the letter o -m -g .
"Yeah. Come on, Kid, lets go shopping." Mel said, grabbing my hand and leading me to Urban Outfitters.
We walked around the store and finally ended up in the clearance isle. We found some more cute clothes. A pair of overalls, a cute crop top, a pair of ripped boyfriend jeans, and a new set of earrings. Thing was, I had never pierced my ears. Ms. Evans wouldn't allow it.
" How about these?" Mel said pointing to the earrings.
"They're cute, it's just my ears aren't pierced." I told her.
" Are you serious!" Melanie said.
"Yeah kinda." She grabbed my hand and lead me to the Claire's across the mall floor.
" Can you pierce my daughters ears?" Mel asked a sales associate.
She called me her daughter. After one day, she considered me her child. I felt like flying. She was nice and didn't treat me like sh*t. All my other foster parents did.
"Of course. Pick out your earrings sweetheart." The associate said. Her name tag read Felicity.
I picked out a pair of purple studs.
I sat in the pink chair and let Felicity prep my ears. She rubbed alcohol on my ears and then marked the spot with a sharpie.
" Okay, count to 5." Mel said. I felt the needle hovering above my ears. I counted up to 3 and felt the needle pierce through my ear.
" You okay?" Felicity asked me.
" Yes ma'am."
She did the other ear in a flash. Before I knew it, we were back in Urban Outfitters, checking out with the clothes we looked at earlier. We walked out of the mall and drove to the nearest Chipotle.
" One burrito with pork and white rice and one bowl with chicken and white rice." Mel said once we got up to the counter to order. She put on the rest of the toppings and we sat down and ate.
We got home after a long drive back. Well, long for a girl who had to pee. Sorry, TMI. After I used the restroom, I went to my room and played on my phone. Around 11:00, my eyes were closing. I put my phone on the charger and went to sleep. I was sure this would be my forever home.
