*Aviel's Pov*
Cold.
I was cold, I hate being cold. Your nose turns a light red and becomes stuffy. All ten toes curl as if trying to hide themselves from the stinging feeling the temperature has. The cold makes you want to wrap your arms around yourself, pull your knees to your chest into a shivering ball of pointlessness. You hide your head as if you're hoping somehow the cold won't notice you and just leave you be.
It won't. It never does.
The ground beneath me was not my bed. There were no fluffy pillows or a thick duvet. The ground was hard and wet. The jagged edges if whatever it was digging into my back most likely leaving bruises.
I didn't want to open my eyes for the sickening feeling of something being horribly wrong had, by now, swallowed me whole. I couldn't think straight. I had to though... I needed to know.
Peeling my eyes open a bright light blinded me as soon as I did. Blinking rapidly it seemed that with every time my eyes opened, they adjusted more allowing me to see that I was in fact not in my room.
The familiar pale yellow of the walls was replaced with the dull almost depressing grey of stone. Water dropped from the rough edges of the ceiling forming puddles in the uneven rock of the ground.
Where am I?
I was wearing the clothes I fell asleep in. The same light green dress with yellow accents Mavis insisted I wear instead of something more casual. She is the more girly sister after all.
MAVIS!
I became frantic looking around the cave for any sign of my elder sister but there was nothing. Not a single inkling that she had been here... that anyone had been here... only me. This had to be some kind of screwed up dream you have after sharing ghost stories or hearing rumors of murders who jump unsuspecting girls in the middle of the night.
It had to be.
A sick, sick dream... a nightmare.

Sister Vermilion
FanfictionMavis, you told me once that the only way to live is to love. I never understood that... I never understood how you could love a guild more than your own life. How you could leave me alone... without my sister. Why... why is it you put me to sleep...
