Chapter 3

Y/n pov

I saw Lauren in the hallway and ran up to her. Today she walked to school and I had to learn that from Sinu when I went to pick her up.

"Lauren I'm so sorry I-"

"Y/n it's fine Brad said we should go on another date and I agreed." I smiled and sighed in relief. "Just don't mess it up this time." She said and poked my nose.

After school I decided I to take Lauren out to do something again. I pulled up in front of the building and smiled.

"Bowling?" Lauren said.

"It's a game I promise you'll like it." I said with a smile.

I walked out of the car and before she could open the car door I opened it for her. "Thank you." She said quietly and I just nodded my head. I grabbed her hand and we walked into the bowling alley .

I got us bowling shoes and we went to our lane. I put on my shoes and went to help Lauren put hers on because she was being slow. "You have small feet." I said as I put one of the shoes on her.

"No I don't!" She whined.

I finished tying her shoe and sat next to her. "Yeah you totally do!" I said and compared our feet.

"That's only because you're a guy. You guys have abnormally big feet" Lauren said while she laughed and pushed me slightly.

"Okay come on I'll teach you how to play." I said and lead her towards the lane giving her a ball. "Okay you see those pins?" I asked pointing at the white pins at the end of the lane. She nodded her head. "You're going to try and knock them down with this ball by rolling it across the lane." I said and picked up my own ball. "Like this." I said and gave her a demonstration. I got a strike which was surprising because I suck at bowling. "Your turn." I said.

"Okay." She said and held the ball up. She focused on the pins and rolled the ball. It quickly curved into the gutter and Lauren frowned.

"Wow." I said and Lauren turned towards me. "You suck." I say and she flipped me off.

"Ha I beat you!" Lauren jumped up as she made another strike. "Now say I'm better than you and I don't suck." She said pointing towards me.

"You are better than me and you don't suck." I said rolling my eyes and facing towards her.

"That's what I like to hear L/n." She said and smirked.

"Oh we're on a last name basis now?" I asked getting closer to her.

"It made me sound so yeah I guess we are." She said and I looked into her Green eyes again.

He features softened and her face had a blank expression as we stared at each other.

"How do you know if you like someone?" Lauren asked.

I pondered for a moment and didn't know an exact answer to her question. "I don't know. It's just this feeling you get inside of you that no one else gives you, when you're around them you only want to be with them, and you don't even have to be with them as a romantic way because as long as your by their side your fine." I said just explaining my feelings in the moment.
