The Bridges And The Beach

Chapter 1

She stared blankly sitting on the railing looking over it. The rushing waters below aching for her to jump. Dangerously, she jumped to the next bridge. She did this everyday quietly taking off not knowing where the wind would take her that day. Today it took her to the bridges. She quickly jumped onto the next bridge, slipping slightly but regaining her balance quickly. She muttered quietly under her breath, "Gotta be more careful..". She quietly jumped the guard over the railing and on to the safe side of it then she quietly walked home.

The next day she woke up grabbed her pocket knife and looked for a decent outfit. Finally she settled on a SayWeCanFly t-shirt, ripped skinny jeans, her leather jacket, combat boots, and of course all her bracelets she always wore all 27 of them neatly one after another. She quietly walked outside and locked the door. Then walked into the woods behind her house preparing for a long 2 hour walk down the the Beach. When she got there she drew in the sand for a little while, then changed into her bathing suit and jumped straight into the water. She looked around at the colorful reefs of blue, green, red, pink, and yellow. She looked around and realized how quiet the waters were today realizing only a few fish going by, she smiled at the silence for she didn't get it a lot.

It was 6 hours later and she was out at the bridges again. Jumping single handedly through the bridges using only her upper body to support herself. She was light keep in mind, she was becoming skinny because she had stopped eat for 2 weeks than eat a little stop eat a little and stop. It was her routine and it way finally paying off. Glancing at the time, 3:27 she realized her dad would be home soon, scurrying she quickly grabbed her stuff and ran home. Quietly she set the table just as her dad pulled into the driveway. "Where's my dinner" He screams. "Right here" she says. She quietly sat him down pushed in his chair and went to her room in silence. "Tomorrows school.." she whispered quietly to herself, just before she drifted off into a deep sleep.
