Left alone (part 2)

Levi's POV

I could see she was about to cry. She ran away into the ally. I felt bad for her but I also felt bad for Farlan and Isabel. I couldn't help but feel Lou didn't want things to be this way. I had a feeling she was angry at herself for breaking our promise. She made me promise I wouldn't leave her but I broke it because she technically forced me to, by accident obviously.

Time skip

Erwin gave us our new uniform and we officially became members of the survey corps.

"That leach! I new we couldn't trust her. She called me a slut. We were friends for crying out loud!" Isabel screamed as she paced up and down our cabin. "Isabel shut your mouth." I spat. She grabbed my collar and pulled her face close to mine. "We're going to die because your sister sold us to the military. We're going to get devoured and she's going to be down there living the life." She screamed. That made a vein pop and I pushed her to the floor. "She was ready to give herself up for us! She stole for us, she did everything for your pathetic ass. You think I didn't realise all those bruises and the blood on her clothes when she came back after getting food. She had to fight grown men to get it for us and not once did we thank her. She made deals with the fucking commander of the god damned military to keep us safe and she even tried to keep us safe when we got caught. Yet you're here getting fed and trained and still complaining. She's down their fighting for her life. Those merchants find out we're gone and they'll kill her!" I screamed at Isabel. It was true. All the pain she went through was for us. "She was still a bitch to me." She retorted. "She never liked you, that's one, and two she knew this day would come and how fucking fragile you are so she tried to make you not like her so then you wouldn't be hurting when she leaves or gets killed! And finally she inherits it." I regained my composure. "She didn't want you to hurt like me." I whispered as tears streamed out. "I loved her and I couldn't protect her. She told us not to go but we went. How fucking stupid." I yell as I punch the floor. I didn't know when I fell to my knees.

Time skip 4 years

16. I'm 16. A leader of the most dangerous gang both in the underground and up there. I have workers up there. Dark queen. Shadow. All those are the things they call me. I wear a black scarf around my head and face to cover my identity. I got it from Levi. It's weird. I've almost forgot him. His name feels weird and unfamiliar. I've not said his name in 4 years.

"Hey boss, corps are down here." Issac called through the door. We set up camp in a abandoned factory. The whole place was empty and it resembled a hall with offices upstairs. When we found this place it was obvious it was set up by people who were filthy rich. The furniture, desks and such were practically brand new. The only problem was the dust. I made it my own personal aim to clean it till it was shining. It took us a week to finish the whole thing up. The best part of it was it was unknown to practically anyone as the people who worked there got killed and the owners were either dead or in the surface somewhere. "Come in Issac." I call he stepped into my office. A tall well built man with dirty blonde hair and deep brown eyes. "I'll go out in disguise and you follow them. Take Snow and Bow with you, you'll need them." I finish he nodded and left.

Snow and Bow. Cousins. Snow was a teenage girl with almost white blue eyes and Snow White hair. Her cousin Bow was a tall, skinny, raven haired boy also with almost white blue eyes. They were one of the best spies I have. Bow got his name by his magnificent use of the bow and arrow. He's great at it and we mainly use him for situations where a sniper is needed. Snow on the other hand is a very flexible girl and can fit into places where it is almost inhumanly possible. She can bend in ways a normal human couldn't. She's sneaky and quick. We use her for spying more than fighting like her cousin.

Issac was like my right hand. If anything happened to me he'd take over. He was responsible and strong.

Me. I was the leader for a reason. My acting skills were better than anybody else's. I was heartless, I didn't feel guilt. I was the strongest in the underground. Ironic how my brother is being called 'humanities strongest' whilst his baby sister is 'underground's strongest'. Every once in a while I get some prick thinking he can beat me but he ends up, unconscious, dead or scarred for life. I'm quick and stealthy like a shadow (hence the nickname 'shadow') and I dress in all black (and the nickname 'dark queen'). No one knows what I look like, except for my trusted friends/workers. "Knock knock can I come in?" Said a cheery voice. I knew exactly who it was. "Yes Laina you can come in." I sighed. Laina, my best friend beside snow and Bow. Her cover underground name: koinu means puppy as she's always cheery even when she kills. "So we going out today?" She asks as she sits on my chair I put my pen down and look at her, smiling like always. I nod."Erwin decided to pay us a visit. We need to check it out, Snow and Bow have been informed and I wanted you to come as well. In case I get caught I need Issac to know. You'll be with me but when things turn sour you run get it? I don't want you to get hurt." I said in my monotonous voice. She grinned at me indicating she was happy, more then usual that is. "You love me don't ya Lou. I'm your best friend. Well I love you too! Imma go get ready." She screamed everything except my name. I couldn't afford anyone to know my name except her. She pestered me until I told her. I do love her though and I trust her.

Time skip

"Right I'm going if I don't come back make sure to keep it clean. I give the whole gang over to Issac if I die or get taken away. If I did do die and I see you didn't clean properly I will haunt you got it shit heads?" I say the last sentence in a threatening tone. They all cower and nod.

Some had a faint blush in their cheeks from my appearance. I had a yellow dress that stoped just above the knee accompanied with white flats. I had a blond wig on and brown contacts in to hide my natural hair and eyes. I also had a lot of makeup on to hide my identity but made sure it looked kinda natural. I groaned as I made my way to the door. I could feel stares on my ass and so I turned around and glared daggers at them. "Scram you maggots." I spat a deadly aura surrounding me. They all cowered once again and went to do their thing.

We walked through the town with massive grins on our faces and arms locked together. Obviously koinu's grin was real whilst mine was fake. We saw Erwin and made my way towards him.
"Hello sir!" I exclaim in a high-pitched and cheery voice. He turns and greets us. "Sir we see your from the military but not the military police. Do you need any help? We know everybody here." Koinu says in her usual cheery voice but she deepened it. Erwin smiles and nods. "Actually yes. I'm looking for the dark queen, shadow or koneko, do you know where I could find her?" Erwin asked in a serious tone. Both of us furrowed our eyebrows, to make it look like we're thinking. "Actually" I started both of them looked at me. "I saw her walk into Levi's old house. I don't know where his sister is but no ones seen her since Levi's disappearance. Did you take her as well? Or maybe it is her, shadow appeared a week after Levi went with you. I guess we'll never know." I say, making sure I sound cheery. Erwin looks at me suspiciously but I just smile. "Ok thank you ladies. I guess I'll see you around." Erwin says, a bit of suspicion in his voice. "Goodbye commander sir!" Both of us exclaim and wave our hands in sync.

"That was a pain in the ass." I groan as we get back to hideout. We took extra precaution when walking back so no one sees us. "Erwin followed you but we guided him onto a different path." I hear snow say behind me. I gave her my gratitude and went upstairs to change.

I was just sat at my desk filling out a tally of our weapons. I was about to call for Issac to give me the information but he burst through my door. "Samson got killed. A group of thugs ambushed him on the eastern wing." He explained. I combed my hand through my long raven locks. "Shit. Did he have any weapon on him?" I asked a bit concerned. "A dagger. However it snapped and the gun was out of bullets and broken. They didn't take anything off of him though." Issac confirmed. I just nodded and rubbed my face. "I wanted to call you up anyway, I need the weapon and food amount. We can sort that later though, send James, Thomas and Kenny to wipe the gang out." I say standing up. "The group was a group of five though." Issac informed me. I thought for a while. They're strong but are they strong enough? "Ok send John and.....Harry along. Give them daggers we can't afford to waste ammo, especially when the corps are around. I'm going to my old house." I conclude, walking out of the office. I put my scarf around my face, head and neck and left. I decided not to take 3DMG so I don't brig any unnecessary attention. I had to be extra careful now that the corps are around.

I snuck through the ally's and the shadows so no one saw me. I knew that snow was somewhere around. She always followed me for safety reasons but never questioned nor followed me right into the house. She never entered and never would unless she saw something that alarmed her. She wasn't much of a fighter so if anything did happen she's go fetch Issac.

I looked around and saw Snow on the roof. She nodded to tell me it was safe. I ran to the house as fast as I could, not bothering to knock, I burst through the door, shutting and locking it behind. "I'm home." I whispered and fell to my knees. Tears fell freely from my eyes and I sobbed. I didn't scream but I did shout, not loud enough for Snow to hear me but loud enough for myself to acknowledge my pain.

After about half an hour of crying I got up off of the floor and got cleaned up. I looked at a picture of me and Levi. We were both smiling and I couldn't help but smile. I had to leave all photos and everything in the house in case the corps or someone came in. Not to build suspicion and stuff I left everything as it was. I want people to think Levi's sister is dead but I can't spread a rumour like that. It's stupid and people would think I was her and my cover would go to shit.

I sneaked back to hideout and announced lockdown after I did a register. If someone didn't return I'd still announce them to shut the gate but I'd increase security. I'm still going to increase security anyway because of Erwin.

I went up to the office and set out the sofa bed. I crawled under the blanket, curling up into a ball like a kitten (also a nickname given by the public.)
