'I've been sitting here staring at the clock on the wall
And I've been laying here praying, praying she won't call
It's just another call from her
And you'll get it and be gone
And I'll be crying

And I'll be begging you, baby
Beg you not to leave
But I'll be left here waiting
With my Heart on my sleeve
Oh, for the next time we'll be here
Seems like a million years
And I think I'm dying

What do I have to do to make you see
She can't love you like me?

Why don't you stay
I'm down on my knees
I'm so tired of being lonely
Don't I give you what you need
When she calls you to go
There is one thing you should know
I don't have to live this way
Baby, why don't you stay

You keep telling me, baby
There will come a time
When you will leave her arms
And forever be in mine
But I don't think that's the truth
And I don't like being used and I'm tired of waiting
It's too much pain to have to bear
To love a man you have to share'

*Three days later*

"I like you in my arms, Lou." I whispered quietly into his hair.

"I like being in your arms, I feel safe." He replied. I pulled him closer into my chest, his backside against my front and our arms tangled at his chest.

"I feel like we don't get to do this enough." I sighed.

"Wh-" He didn't finish because his phone started to go off, and I knew exactly who it was.

"Hello?"

"Lou! Do you want to go out again today?" He was so close that I could hear her annoying, high-pitched voice.

"Yeah, I'd have to get dressed first. Where?" He pulled away from me and I was hurt. He was going to leave me again today for her.

I don't know. Let’s just go shopping, yeah?"

"Okay. See you soon!" He slid his phone back into his sweats and turned around to look at me. "I'm going out with El-"

"Please don't? Not again, Lou. I miss you, and you said it would be us today." I cut him off, saying sadly and disappointed.

"Babe, how about dinner?" I didn't want to tell him that that's not good enough and that he's hurting me because I don't want fights. I just nodded sadly to him and he rushed out of the room. Not even a goodbye? A kiss?

"You okay there mate?" I jumped and let out a small scream. I glared over at Liam and he chuckled, making his way over to my bed and taking a seat.

"When did you get here?" I asked.

"Earlier this morning. I was bored." I nodded in acknowledgement and went back to picking at my blanket. "You didn't answer me."
