Chapter27-gun shots

Mitch's pov

I watched as Tyler leaned down and kissed Rocky I smirked quietly to myself. They pulled away and smiled to each other, I noticed a figure behind Tyler I realised who it was. But I was to late. Before I could warn anyone the man behind Tyler lifted a gun and shot Tyler in the back. "TYLER!" everyone shouted as he fell to the ground I watched in shock as Rocky fell to her knees and held Tyler's head and sob. "no how could this happen why would you do this" she sobbed I looked up the man who shot Tyler he looked up and grinned he aimed the gun for me. My eyes widened in horror as he pulled the trigger "NO!" shouted Maria as she jumped in front of me, she cried in pain as the bullet went threw her shoulder and she landed on the ground at my feet. "MARIA!" I shouted dropping to my knees to help her. I looked up to the man, he was another guard. 'how did we not see him?' I thought 'maybe he just came up the stairs or maybe he was hiding' I thought again. He lifted the gun once more but put it down once he saw me aiming my bow at him. He slowly put it down and backed away, I kept my bow trained on him whilst Jordan called the cops.

Jordan's pov

'Now has to be a good time to call the cops' I thought. I pulled my cell phone out from my pocket and dialled 911.

Officer:"hello police what is the emergency".

Jordan:"hello I am at the abandoned hotel at the end of town my friend has been shot in the back and my other friend has been shot on the shoulder my other friends father is trying to kill us and we have pinned down him and his two guards please send the cops and an ambulance". I said quickly now panicking as Maria had become pale.

Officer:"okay we'll send someone over straight away stay where you are". he said hanging up.

'Stay calm!?' I thought. 'how can I stay calm when both of my friends have been shot there's two guards and Rocky's father are trying to kill us all!?'. "What did they say?" asked Adam worriedly "they're sending someone over right now and an ambulance for Tyler and Maria" I said "they better hurry I don't think Tyler will wake up if they don't" said Rocky through tears.

Maria's pov

About 5 minutes passed and I was feeling more and more dizzy every second. "Mitch?" I said weakly "what is it I'm right here biggums" he replied quickly "I...I can't stay...awake" I said collapsing. "no Maria you an do this you're strong you can make it" he said lifting my head up. I looked into his eyes and watched as tears streamed down his face and land on mine. "please" he said "I love you". My eye lids started to close. "I love you too" I said as they closed I felt him kiss my forehead and everything went blank.

Rocky's pov

"No!" I heard Mitch shout. I lifted my head from Tyler's chest and looked at Mitch, Maria was unconscious on his lap.Blood loss. There was a loud bang from downstairs as a door was broken down. 7 police officers ran into the room "everyone stand still don't move!" shouted one of them who held a gun up. we all froze on the spot. The other 6 grabbed John and the two guards while the first one questioned me and the others. "why was you're father wanting to kill you?" asked the officer "I..um I don't know" I lied. I know exactly why he wanted to kill me. It's because of my powers.
