1- Nothing New

Typical School Morning In Devinity's World -

Every morning it's the same routine I wake up to my parents yelling at each other , you know I still wonder why they're still together , living under the same roof , torturing me , the one time my parents get along is when they see me hurt , they see me suffering, they see me getting weaker each day . No I don't know why they do this to me , sometimes I just feel like they're doing it on purpose , sometimes I feel as if when I'm hurt so many people are happy . The funny part is that I'm barely happy I forgot what happiness feels like and the feeling is "nothing new". Something I always say everyday because no day is different in my life it's always me getting hurt by people or me hurting myself because I'm tired of getting hurt  I'd rather hurt myself then get hurt by others. Im no one special I'm just Devinity Howards a girl with blue eyes , natural brown hair, and my figure is ' ok ' I'm not fat nor am I skinny but I don't care about what I look like anyways . Today is Monday the day of the week everyone dislikes , but in my world everyday is Monday

4:30am -
After  tossing and turning in bed I knew I couldn't go back to sleep my parents just had to argue near my room . So I decided to take a long shower and got ready for school *yipee school* by the time I was done it was practically 5:30 I just finished my long shower , already put on my usual outfit I wear to school which is just a sweatshirt and leggings I don't wear pounds and pounds of make up cause meh I just don't want to but if I did want to I would but not that much and since I was early I'd thought I'd walk to school instead of taking the bus since I don't live far from school

On my walk to school I put on my earphones and turned on music on my phone music is my only escape , it takes me to a whole other world and it feels good to escape all of my thoughts and just flow together with not only the lyrics of the song but the tune. One Thing about music is that when it hits you , you feel no pain well at least physically.
I made a few stops around the block to pet some dogs and just enjoy the morning breeze. I'm now at the park near our school and I'd thought I'd stop there and swing on the swing set since I still have a lot of time before school. As I sat there a guy around my neighborhood passed by and waved , I didn't know if he was waving at me but since I was the only one at the park it came to my dumb senses that he was waving at me.
He goes to the same school as me and he is the one and only Chase Adams he is known as the one of the popular kids in our school but he doesn't act or think of himself as one . Just my luck he walks over to where I'm at

" Hey Devinity wanna walk to school together ?" I honestly know what's going to happen he's not like everyone at school but i know this is all a game .

" No thanks I'll pass , save your image Chase you don't want to be seen with one of the most lowest girls in school " after that being said I walked away and chase decided to twiddle his fingers on his phone on a table at the park.

And I'm here , the most amazing place on earth ... school . Yep my level of sarcasm is strong, stronger than me woohoo good job Dee you just criticized yourself.

As soon as I walked to my lockers I hear a familiar voice , Arianna Banks the most popular girl in school , everyone worships her , everyone loves her she has a gang of 3 who picks on me every single day . Arianna pushes me against the lockers and banged my head really hard that my head started to spin , she and her gang left me there on the ground I would get up but my head hurts too much to even stand up as they were leaving Arianna turns back to me and says
" just wanted to start your morning with a bang , have a horrible day Devinity "

I don't even know how I got used to this ....

The day went by fast today thank the lord. I decided to walk home after school. As soon as I got home I took a shower and put on a big t-shirt and some shorts. My parents aren't home ' what a surprise ' so I decided to make myself dinner . After I ate I finished my homework and flopped myself in bed right when I was about to fall asleep I heard a ding from my phone.

" well that's new , someone probably got the wrong number " I thought to myself

*new message from unknown number*

-hey , it's me Derek let's hang tomorrow?

Me- Uhm I think you have the wrong number this is Devinity Howards

- nope I meant to send that to you , so what do you say ?

-Uhm no thanks I'll pass how did you even get my number

-come on Dev it'll be fun , and I have my ways 😉

-why are you even texting me you hate my guts and you bully me so why would I want to hang out with you

-just say yes and I'll make it up to you

-idk

-just this once

-ugh I'm going to regret this

-please Dev if you don't want to after tomorrow then you don't have to hang out with me anymore

-ugh fine

-cool meet me after school xo

Oh I have a bad feeling about this , were the last thoughts that went through my mind before I started to drift away and fall asleep.
