The Infinite Tsukuyomi

"Then dying together would also be considered teamwork...would it not?" Those words echo'd around Team 7 as a portal in the form of a swirl opened up 15 yards in front of them, both Madara Uchiha, and Obito Uchiha, whom was now under the complete control of Black Zetsu, emerging from it. "Heh." Madara mutters as he stares straight at Sasuke, having now received his Left Rinnegan eye.

"Damn, it seems he managed to get his other Rinnegan after all...keep your guard up, Naruto." Sasuke says to him, the only response he would receive is a quick nod. "These two...they're always..." Sakura mumbled quietly, as she stood behind Naruto & Sasuke. "No! I promised myself that I wouldn't be helpless anymore. I promised myself that I..." He grits her teeth as the mark of the 100 healings activated, spreading across her entire body. "I promised myself that I wouldn't fall behind ever again!" She shouted as she ran towards Madara, only to be impaled by a Chakra receiver. This, to Madara's surprise however, didn't stop her. She quickly attempted to punch him in the face, only to be blocked by an 'invisible' wall. Naruto & Sasuke immediately charged at Madara as well, only for their attacks to be deflected as well, sending all three of them flying back.

"Sakura! Are you okay!?" Naruto shouts frantically as he yanks out the chakra receiver, throwing it aside quickly. "I'm okay, don't worry..." Sakura says, not taking her eyes off Sasuke as she just thinks to herself. 'He isn't even concerned about me in the slightest...' "Naruto, have you noticed it yet?" Sasuke asks, causing Naruto to stand up quickly. "Yeah. I can tell." He says with a nod, before clenching his fist. "Madara has 4 shadows now...5, if you count the one you sealed up." Sasuke says, before Madara cuts them both off abruptly. "Enough with this side show." He says boredly before flying up towards the moon, stopping about 200 yards in the air. "Planetary Devastation!" He quickly shouted, before releasing a total of 30 black-hole looking orbs, that all began to suck up the ground below, quickly forming a total of 30 meteorites, each one larger than the average mountain. "They're a bit larger than raindrops, but..." He says with a smirk, before sending them all down towards Team 7.

"We've gotta do something about these meteors, Sasuke!" Naruto shouts to him, as he gets ready to begin his counter attack, when Sasuke cuts him off. "Don't forget, Madara's shadows are still on the ground with us!" Naruto just smiles confidently as he nods. "Don't worry, I've got them! Shadow Clone Jutsu!" And with that, he makes a total of 4 Shadow Clones that all begin to run towards the Limbo Clones, with them doing the same.

"Susanoo!" Sasuke shouts as he forms his Perfect Susanoo, before flying up to one of the meteorites as he slices it into four pieces, before moving on to the next one, doing the same. "Kurama!" Naruto shouts, holding his hand out. "Right!" Kurama shouts in return, as he lends a Bijuu Bomb, allowing Naruto to create a Bijuu Bomb Rasen Shuriken. Immediately afterwards, he flings it towards one of the meteorites, completely obliterating it at the same time as Sasuke slices up another one. 'Damn it...there's no end to them!' Sasuke thinks to himself as he looks at the dozens of meteorites left.

Meanwhile, much higher in the sky, Madara was floating still, staring at the moon with a content look on his face. "According to that stone tablet left behind by the Sage of the Six Paths, when one who possesses the power of the Rinnegan nears the moon, an eye will open up in order to reflect the eternal genjutsu on the surface of the moon." He says as he grabs his forehead protector, tearing it off. After a few moments, a Red eye with 9 Tomoe appeared on his forehead, causing him to form a single handsign. "Now then...shine over the world, infinite Tsukuyomi."

"No...this is bad..." Sasuke says as he sees 9 Tomoe appear over the surface of the moon, causing him to abandon the meteorites and begin flying down towards Naruto and the others. "Don't worry Kakashi-sensei, Sakura! I'll pulverize these meteors with this!" He shouts confidently, as he holds up 7 Bijuu Bomb Rasen Shurikens. "O-okay..." Kakashi says, amazed by how much Naruto had grown over the years. 'I've gotta make sure I don't hit Sasuke, too...' He says, before throwing them up at the meteorites, only for Sasuke to carelessly fly through them, nearly being hit. "Hey! Be more careful!" Naruto shouts, as Sasuke lands his Susanoo behind Team 7. "And land more graciously, too!" He says. "Just shut up and stay still!" Sasuke demands, as he begins to wrap his Susanoo around Naruto, Sakura & Kakashi, hoping to protect them from the Genjutsu that was about to be launched.

As though a nuclear bomb had just gone off, the entire planet was surrounded in a bright white light that seemed to cover every corner of the globe, and reach every person. As the entire world was overwhelmed with an eerie silence, all Team 7 could do was watch as everyone they'd ever known fell victim to the Genjutsu.

"This light can pierce through even shadows. Divine Genesis: World Of Trees!" Madara shouted after slapping his hands together, roots of the divine tree beginning to pop up in every country, as vine like objects begin to snatch people, wrapping them up in cocoon like shells. "Finally...everyone in the shinobi world is at peace." Madara says, only to be shocked when the trunk of the divine tree, along with all the branches Madara made began to get sucked into the ground. "W-what!?" Naruto shouted as everything began to violently shake. "What's the meaning of this!?" Madara frantically shouted, only to look over to find Black Zetsu hitching a ride on one of the branches. "Black Zetsu! What are you doing!?" He shouted, but only got a laugh in response.

"We should follow the branches!" Naruto shouts. "You have to stay in my Susanoo while the light is still there." Sasuke says in response, before the Susanoo began flying towards the disruption in reality. Meanwhile, Madara too began to fly towards it, determined to find an answer to the mystery that was currently unfolding, as well as an explanation for why the Infinite Tsukuyomi he spent decades of his life, and even revived himself for, was so drastically different from what he thought.
