Because I have my exams on 19, definitely, I will have much time in my studies. But, don't worry. Atleast you will read my first chapter. I'm here in my room, focusing and studying my lessons. Madali na kasi ang examination ko for college kaya kelangan ko ng mag'aral. I'll take up TOURISM. Nuong bata pa lang ako, yun na kasi talaga ang pangarap ko. I want to fulfill all my dreams so that I can help my mom. I want to finish my studies.
I'm back in my senses when I here someone opening my hotel room.
Who's that? Killer? My stalker? Thief? Hey Cassandra! Stop that! There's no time to joke. But, what I am gonna do? I thought to myself.
I can hear loud footsteps going to my room. Tumayo ako sa upuan ko at nahiga sa kama - nagkukunyaring natutulog. Unti-unting umiikot yung doorknob ng room ko.
Please LORD. Please. Help me to get out of her.
Okay. Calm down. Here it is. Nakapasok na siya. I need to get out of her.
Think. Think. Think.
But, in my shock. Binuksan nya ang curtain ng bintana ko at may naramdaman ako na umupo sa tabi ko. Hinawakan nya ako sa kamay. That hands! I know that hands. Matagal ko ng naramdaman yun.
"Hey sweetie. Rise and shine. Wake up."
A voice of a woman. She's waking me up. I know that voice. Mom?
"Cass, wake up. Breakfast in bed." She told me.
I slowly open my eyes and see a woman smiling at me. My mom. My dearest mom.
"Mom?" I asked. I'm shock. Wala akong ibang masabi. Yun lang yung unang lumabas sa bibig ko. Umupo ako ng straight so that I can hug my mom - that is staring at me while smiling. I hug her so tight while crying.
"Oh? Miss me honey?" She asked.
I super miss my mom. Imagine. 8 years. 8 years ko siyang hindi nakasama.
"Yes mom. I miss you so much." I told her still crying.
"I miss you too." She told me. Humiwalay na kami sa pagkakayakap. "Ow. You're still crying?" She asked.
I laugh quietly then she wipe my tears. "I'm sorry mom. I guess. I'm being too emotional. I'm just happy that your back." I told her with a sweet smile.
"And I'm happy to see you sweetie. Ang laki mo na ah. Dalaga na talaga ang anak ko at ang ganda pa. Baka may boyfriend ka na ah?"
I shake my head as a no answer.
"None? Why?" She asked me again. "Ah. I know. Mga nanliligaw pa lang?"
I shake my head again. Tumayo na ako sa kama ko para pumunta sa study table. Doon nakalagay yung pagkain na hinanda ni mommy para sakin. Sinundan lang ako ng tingin ni mommy and I started to eat.
