Zayn didn't know what to do. He had tried everything. He had tried texting him, calling him, face timing, even face timing him. But he didn't get a reply back, not once. He was planning on going over to his house, but figured it would be the best to just leave him alone, cool off a little.

The lad sighed softly, running his fingers through his hair as he walked down the stairs. "Where do you think you're going?" He jumped when he heard his fathers voice appear from the kitchen once he reached the door.

"To go meet some friends" Zayn said an bit his lip, turning around to face the man. "You mean Gigi, Harry and Liam?" Yaser rose a brow, crossing his arms over his chest while leaning himself against the wooden doorway of the kitchen.

Zayn shook his head. "Are you trying to tell me you got some new friends?" Yaser narrowed his eyebrows at his son.

"Yes"

"My son has new friends? What a miracle" His father joked, grinning teasingly at him.

"Oh haha" Zayn rolled his eyes, laughing sarcastically. "Aren't you the comedian of the year"

Yaser chuckled. "I'm just messing with you son" he walked up to the lad and ruffled his hair, receiving a whine. "Baba" Zayn huffed and slapped his hand away, straightening his quiff again.

"Damn son, who are you trying to impress, again?" The man rose yet another brow at his son, giving him an amused grin as the boy fixed his style on the mirror.

"A girl" Was all Zayn answered, Yaser humming in reply. "Are you sure it's a girl you want to impress?"

"Yes?" Zayn looked at his father in confusion, tilting his head. "Why wouldn't it be a girl?"

His father shrugged. "Who knows" And with that, he disappeared in the kitchen again, leaving Zayn all confused behind.

The blond just shook his was at his father, checking himself out in the mirror one last time before heading out. "I'll be back around ten" He called out before closing the door behind him and walking towards his motorcycle.

"So, how long have you been interested in Pez?" Toni asked Zayn as he positioned himself over the pool table, closing one eye to get a good aim.

Currently, the group was spending their evening in a diner downtown, a place where most teenagers hang out after school.

"Excuse me?" Zayn asked, narrowing his eyebrows at the dark haired lad. "Oh please, we all know you're interested in Perrie Edwards. Have for a while now" B.J. grinned, wiggling his eyebrows.

Zayn blushed and cleared his throat at that, shrugging his shoulders. "I may be interested in her. Is that a problem?"

"No no, course not. Just keep an eye on that one"

"Why?"

"Because she's a bîtch" Toni suddenly butted, making his winning shot. "She's a control freak" He straighten himself up, looking at the blond.

"Once she's got you wrapped around her finger, boy there ain't no getting out of there" He chuckled and shook his head. "No matter you decided to do, when she doesn't like it, she'll say she wants to do something else. And when you go ahead and say no, she knows a way how to convince you"

"I don't understand what you're trying to say here..." Zayn asked a little confused, looking between the two guys.

B.J. and Toni looked at each other. "You see Zayn, a relationship to her is like a game. Her game. She's the one that comes up with the rules, and if you break one, she makes your life miserable. She may act like the innocent victim in the outside, but on the inside, she's a cruel bîtch that'll turn your life into a living hell" B.J. explained and Zayn wasn't sure if they were telling the truth or messing with him.

"What are you guys talking about?" They all jumped when Perrie stood beside all of them, Toni and B.J. pursing their lips.

"Um nothing nothing" The american lad chuckled nervously, chewing on his bottom lip before glancing at Toni who was standing beside him.

The blonde girl rose a brow at them. "Okay then" She rolled her eyes and turned her attention to Zayn, smiling.

"You okay?" She asked him, poking his side when she noticed he wasn't paying attention. "What? Oh uh yeah I'm fine" He gave Toni and B.J. a look before looking down at the blonde.

Perrie nodded and smiled, biting her lip. "Well, I'm gonna go get something to drink. You want anything?"

"Nah, I'm good love" Zayn smiled genuinely down at her, watching her leave with a smile until it faded when he looked back at the boys.

"Why should I believe you two?" He suddenly asked with a whisper, looking at them.

"Because" Toni said, biting his lip. "We want to help you"

"Why now? I mean, you had chances before. Like when Daren beat me those times and you just stood there, laughing and doing nothing. So why are you helping me now with a girl?" Zayn asked them and rose a brow. His eyes then went over to the booth where she was standing and waiting.

His eyes met with Perrie's, the girl sending him a sweet smile before looking away with a faint blush. "She seems sweet" He said and looked back at the guys with a smile.

"That's her shell"

The lad rolled his eyes at that and shook his head, placing the pool stick away. He looked down at his Rolex and sighed. "Look I have to go now, I'll see you tomorrow" He grabbed his helmet and leather jacket.

The boys watched him, sending each other looks when Perrie came walking up to them. "Where do you think you're going?" She asked Zayn and tilted her head in confusion.

"I have to go home" He told her and started walking towards the door, Perrie following after like a puppy. "Why so soon?" She pouted, grabbing his arm.

"I have to take care of some business Pez. But I'll see you tomorrow in school" Zayn turned around to look at the blonde, who sighed in response.

"Alright. Until tomorrow then" She bit her lip and looked up at him through her lashes, the lad smiling softly. He leaned down and pressed a soft kiss to her cheek. "Until tomorrow" He gave her a quick wink before walking out of the shop, leaving a flustered girl behind.
