Here it is my intervew with the amazing NamelessOne!
So how are you?
I am so wonderful, you have no idea! I just got the results of a contest (like 5 minutes ago) that This Life of Mine was entered into and it tied for 1st place in it's category! I am almost giddy with happy tears right now!
Congratulations! So who inspires you to write?
That's an interesting question, and probably one with an unusual answer. My school inspired me to write initially, because my degree program is Writing/Producing. I'm not a writer at all, or well... never was until now. This Life of Mine is my first ever attempt at any kind of writing. I sought to work on my nonexistent writing skills for school (so I wouldn't be horrible when it came time for me to write) and I figured that fan fiction would be a good place to start, seeing as it already has a good foundation. I had NO IDEA that I would actually like it, or that I would even keep going past the few chapters I started! I'm truly amazed at the power of Wattpad and the amazing fans here! So, as to your question... my school inspired me to write, but my fans continue to inspire me to keep going!
Who are you're favorite writers on Wattpad?
Now that's an easy one! I still have so many to read, so I'm sure this list will continue to grow and grow, but to start with, I'll name a few. @CassandraLowery @GypsyFair @owlsarelovely @Emmalee_Sky @Bauhinia @bumblebee_5n4p3 @Sirissa_Sixx @Silvertongue96 These are just a few of them, I just have so many and I'm looking forward to discovering new ones!
If you could take one of your characters out for the day, who, where and what would you do for the day?
I know the main character in my story is Ginny, but I'm going to stray a little and say that I would like to spend the day with Hermione. Sometimes I feel like, personally, I'm a good mixture between Hermione and Ginny. I know all about the Ginny side of myself, but I'm just learning about the Hermione in me, and I'd like to get to know her a little better. I'd take her to my favorite Barnes and Noble, get a good cup of Hot Cocoa or Apple Cider, or coffee if I'm really in need and just spend hours pouring over the shelves and chatting with her about everything about how she grew up to if we have any similar interests. I'd like to tell her so many things, and get her opinion on so many more! Really, I would love her insight into the direction my life is heading. I'm sure, that whatever it would be, would be thoughtful and give me so much to think about.
Can you tell your readers any cool facts about yourself? Hobbies? Hidden talents? Maybe a top 10 facts?
What an awesome question! Ok, I'll give it a shot.
1) I'm a film school student and I LOVE it!
2) I'm a wife and a mommy to three babies, ages 1, 2 and 3. (well, she'll be 4 tomorrow, but I'm taking advantage of still being about to call her my little 3 year old.)
3) I'm (right now) Producing my first ever independent feature film! And I'll admit, the workload keeps me awake for 36-48 hours at a time sometimes, but I'm still in love with it, so I must be doing something right.
4) I like to cook, when I have time. Although I haven't had so much of that lately.
5) I think I could have been a stunt car driver in another life... I don't know, I just really love testing the limits with my car (with only myself in the car, of course and in a secured location). I learned how to do a really great spin out with my car in an empty parking lot when I was a teenager, and when I was in my STUPID phase back then, I did a little underground street racing and running from the police that would catch us (that's the Ginny side of me coming out) I bet I'd of made a great Quidditch player... no fear, you know :) "
6) I love to sing, but I can't hold a tune to save my life. Someday, when my children get older, they'll realize this and stop asking me to sing for them. That will be a sad day.
7) I have the worst conscience in the world! I HATE for people to think I'm mad at them (even if I am) and I'll say about anything to make them feel better.
8) I was a VERY gullible child (and still am sometimes). I guess, that when someone tells me something, I automatically believe it. Like if they say "I want to be your friend," I believe them. That got me into a lot of heartbreaking spots in middle school.
9) Speaking of middle school... I was homeschooled through a year and a half of middle school because those kids were just too terrible to be around at that age.
10) I will do almost anything for a friend and for someone in need. Not because I hope for something in return, but because I am able.
11) Ok, I know, 1 too many, but I'm adding it anyways. I'm a lover of God and give him all the credit for my happiness. If you could work with one published author, who would it be and why? Well, that one is just too obvious. JK herself, of course. I can't begin to explain the impact she has had on me and my love for reading. I would like to hone my talent under her watch and have her mold me into something great someday.
Well thanks a bunch and good luck with ypur writing! Bye!
