In class after lunch it was a study hall period. So, you decided to use your time wisely and study your notes, but something was making you a bit . . . Uncomfortable. It was surprisingly, Akise.

He started staring at you; you couldn't ignore his staring. It was so intense.

Stop staring . . . Stop staring . . . If our eyes meet it'll make everything awkward. Just stop.

You put your notebook on the side of your head, so maybe you could concentrate less on his gaze, but more on your work. Out of the corner of your eye, it looked as if he had stopped looking at you. You put the notebook down, but Aru didn't stop staring.

"Shit, just stop." You whispered to yourself.

You looked over to his seat again, but this time he wasn't there.

Suddenly, someone spoke, "Oh, (l/n)-chan don't use such foul language."

You turned your head, it was Akise.

"Akise-kun! Don't scare me like that!" You shouted in a whispering tone.

"Oops, my bad. I couldn't mind but see you were studying the wrong notes for the test." He said as he turned the page of your notebook.

"Oh, uh, thanks. You have a very good eye."

He got closer to your ear whispered slightly, "I'm very good at observing things."

You were a bit startled by his action, "O-Oh, I see."

"And I'm observing you very closely." He whispered again, but this time he was on his way back to his seat.

You trembled and blushed a bit from his comment. You both have only just met, but you felt like a connection between you two was sparking.

You went back to your work. It was way easier this time since Akise wasn't staring at you.. Well, your notes. Before you knew it, your first day at school was over. You packed up your things, said goodbye to your new friends and headed home.

"Today was pretty good." You said to yourself, when something caught your eye.

It was a bakery, small and not that busy.

You sniffed the air, "Mmm! Smells wonderful!"

You reached for your wallet to see if you had any yen, "Dammit, I'm broke."

You sighed and put your wallet away, slowly moping home. You were about four sidewalk squares away from the bakery when you accidentally bumped into someone.

You reacted quickly seeing who you hit, "I'm sorry, I wasn't paying attention!"

"No, I'm sorry! Don't worry though! I'm okay!" Said the boy you ran into.

He looked familiar, you took your hand and lifted up the beanie that fell on his face when you both collided.

"Yukiteru? Is that you?"

He looked up a bit frightened, "U-Uh..", he then recognized you, "Oh, (l/n)-chan!"

You giggled.

"I'm sorry for bumping into you! I wasn't looking!" He apologized hysterically.

"Yuki, calm down. It's okay," You smiled softly at him.

"S-Sorry."

You put your hand on his shoulder, "I see why Yuno likes you. You're very polite."

He smiled, "Thanks. Heh, you too. Are you hungry by any chance? I'm going to Yuno's later and I was going to drop in the bakery to get something for her."

"Oh, you're very sweet, but you don't have to."

"It's the least I could do for bumping into you and all."

You accepted his kind offer and followed him quietly into the bakery.

You sniffed the air. It smelt very pleasant as it did before. You both walked up to the counter.

"What may I get for you today?" The worker asked.

Yukiteru started talking, "Um, can I get two orders of Mochi and (l/n)-chan, what would you like?"

"Uh, I'll take some Honey Toast." You said.

The worker replied, "Alright," They rang up the amount of yen it would be, so Yuki could pay.

He payed and received the treats.

He turned to you, "Would you like to sit?"

"Sure."

You followed him over to a table and sat down. He gave you your Honey Toast and started eating his own goodie. You took your first bite. It was delicious!

"Yuki, thank you."

"Oh, no problem. By the way how did you like your first day of school?"

"It was great! I'm glad I bumped into Hinata and Mao."

"I think you'll be a good addition to our group."

"Also, can I ask you something?"

"Of course, what is it?"

"Is it wrong to have feelings for someone you only just met?"

"U-Uh, um.. M-Maybe." He stuttered.

"Never mind.. That was a stupid question."

"O-Okay."

You noticed his nervous stuttering, "Is something the matter?"

"No, I'm fine . . . Don't worry." He smiled slightly.

"Alrighty then." You went back to eating your toast.

You both finished eating after a while, and headed out.

"I'll see ya at school tomorrow!" You said walking down the sidewalk.

"Ok! Bye!" He called to you walking the opposite way to Yuno's place.

You walked home thinking about all the fun you had today.
