~Harry's POV~
Alex and Jay looked over at each other quickly and covered their eyes. And Gemma paused the movie.
"I did it first!" Jay yelled.
What the hell is going on?
"No Gemma who did it?!" "You both did it at the same time" She said and they both groaned.
There was another knock in the door. "so is any one going to get that?" I asked "that's why they are deciding this, cause they're lazy arses" she said pushing Jay to the side.
The person knocking on the door started banging on the door repeatedly.
"or i could just get it?" I said standing up "okay" Jay and Alex said uncovering there eyes.
I opened the door and saw a little girl around 13 or 14 with a duffle bag at her side "uh hello" I said and she started crying.
Crap.
"uh are you okay? do you need something?" "no i lost my parents and I don't know this area it's my first time" she cried.
"okay uh what's your name do you want to come in?" I asked and she nodded "I'm sofie" she wiped her nose as I pulled out my phone.
"Uh do you know your parents number?" I asked handing her my phone. She shook her head. "Okay hold on stay right here I... I'll be right back" I said and she nodded.
I left her there and went to the living room. "guys" I said and they all looked up at me "there is a little girls crying, she lost her parents and she doesn't know the number" I explained "crap really how old is she?" Alex asked standing up. "she looked around 14" I said.
Alex looked down at her phone and then back up to me sliding her phone I her back pocket "did you just leave her outside?!" Gemma yelled and I shook my head
"no of course not but I'm like freaking out what if her parents come and then like they think we Kidnapped her?" I started breathing really heavy. "well lets not just leave her there" Jay said and we all walked back to the front door and saw Sofie on her phone not crying anymore.
What?
"Alex!" she yelled and They ran towards each other and Sofie jumped on Alex.
Huh? I am so lost.
"Sof your a jerk he was flipping out" Alex laughed. Jay and Gemma started laughing too as I stand there more confused then ever.
"Why didn't you tell me you were here?" Alex asked "cause I didn't think I had to" Jay went over to her and hugged her then they started having a conversation.
"WHAT?!" I said louder than expected and they all looked at me and started laughing. "This is Sofia and this is Harry" she introduced us "okay but how do you know each other" I waved my arms around "well family should know each other" Sofie said and Alex smacked her arm. "This is my little sister" alex explained.
"Then why was she crying?!" "because she does that to everybody new that answers our door she did it to Gemma and Jay but nobodies reaction was better than yours I'm sorry" Alex laughed and hugged me "so is this the boyfriend that you told me about?" Sofie asked "no it's a different one" she answered "what?" I asked "I'm kidding gosh Harry" she grabbed my hand and walked back to the living room.
"go put your shhh... tuff in my room." Alex said and sofie nodded. "nice save" Gemma laughed.
She walked up stairs and disappeared in the hallway. "she is 11" Alex said and my eyes widened "she is tall" I said and they all nodded.
"okay play the movie" Alex said and we all went back to cuddling on the couch.
I looked over and saw Gemma on her phone and Alex saw it at the same time I guess.
"PUT YOUR PHONE AWAY!!" she yelled and Gemma dropped the phone. "holy crap!" she yelled and I laughed. "where is your sister?" I asked and Alex shrugged "probably taking a poop" "that's gross" I laughed and She shrugged.
~Alex's POV~
About 15 minutes into the movie Gemma was falling asleep and Jay took that as his one chance to rest her head on his shoulder and cuddle with her without her hesitating.
She is so complicated is says she really like Josh but yet she is here flirting with jay. I don't know if she likes Jay or not but I know she still has feeling for Josh. I just really hope Jay doesn't get hurt. I love Gemma but I can't let her hurt my best friend since I was in like kinder-garden.
Jay was my only friend throughout elementary school and was the only one who stayed next to me through out middle. Jay didn't have the best life at home so when I still lived over in LA I would always sneak him in my room and let him stay the night. My mom found out and said once my sophomore year was over I would have to move out here with my father which meant leaving Jay. And that was my only problem. Then when I moved out here, me and jay lost contact I changed my number and forgot to get my numbers from my phone. Then we ran into each other one day and he said he had an apartment if I ever want to leave my dads house. He never told me that he was planing on moving out here but I'm glad he did. My dad died from cancer that he never told me he had and so I took him up on the offer of living with him because I needed him more than anything and it also helped that I met Gemma.
I felt Harry's thumb slide under my eye and felt wet smear with his thumb. "are you okay?" he whispered in my ear and I nodded.
No I'm not. The thought of my dad. and the thought of Jay getting hurt always gets to me. I will protect Jay over anything in this world besides my sister of course but if you had me choose between Gemma Harry and Jay it would be a no brain-er. I love Gemma and I will do anything for her and I would give up a lot for her. And Harry I like him a lot and I would give up a lot for him as well. But Jay I would give up everything for. And I literally mean anything. I would die for this kid.
I felt a few more tears drop down my face "come on" Harry got up and pulled me up with him. We walked up stairs "which one?" he asked pointing to the few doors down the hallway. I pointed to my room and he opened the door.
We stopped in the door way and I giggled a little when I seen my sister layed across my bed snoring.
"I found her" he whispered and I laughed and nodded "so did I" I said and he smiled his beautiful smile and everything else slipped from my mind.
I really want to kiss him. "do you want to tell me what's wrong" he asked "it's nothing I promise Just I don't want Jay to get hurt because he has been there for me since ever" I said and he nodded. "that's it? you know you can talk to me right?"he asked.
No. not really. I can trust him I just never really thought he would want to sit there and listen to my past. I don't know if I should tell him what I think or if I should just say Yea of course.
"I take that silence as a no. Just know baby you can and I will always listen." With that he took both my hands in his and placed a long kiss on my forehead. and then pulled me into a hug.
"Aw how cute" Sofie said and he pulled away. "get out of my room and go annoy Jay he hasn't seen you in a few months." I said and she nodded "I gotcha I gotcha" she winked at me as she left the room.
"okay?" I said and pushed him into the room so I can shut the door. He made himself comfortable on my bed.
"is this like everybody take Alex's bed day or something?" "no we can share" he opened his arms and I laid down next to him. He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me closer the pulled the blanket over us.
"so what's for dinner?" he asked and I smiled "who said you were staying for dinner?" I smiled then he did. I ran my fingers through his hair and he closed his eyes. "this is how my mum used to get me to fall asleep" he smiled.
With in a few minutes he was lightly snoring and I took this chance to take a picture. After I took it I realised how adorable he looks asleep and I set it as my lock screen. He's going to call me a weirdo but oh well.
With in a few more minutes I start to fall asleep to.
