Perrie's POV:

My eyes fluttered open only to be closed again. The light was far to bright. My whole body ached and I couldn't move. I could hear someone humming. I opened one eye slowly as it adjusted to the lights. My beautiful girlfriend was sitting on the bedside chair writing lyrics. A pen in one hand and the other in mine. I managed to open my other eye now looking at how cute she was as a smile spread across my face.

"You're so cute buba" I said quietly. Her head shot up as her brown eyes met mine.

"Perrie!" she said. Her smile was from ear to ear. She set her stuff down as she stood up to come and hug me. Her arms were coming down to wrap around my neck. My eyes squeezed closed tight and my body instantly flinched away.

"Baby I'm not going to hurt you." I felt her hand on my face as I flinched again from the contact. Her thumb started gently rubbing my cheek and I opened my eyes.

"I promise you. I will never hurt you like he did. I will always protect you" she said smiling at me. My whole body relaxed and I smiled back at her. I wrapped my arms around her waist and held her as close to me as I could.

"I'm sorry" I said quietly.

"Don't be sorry, non of this is your fault" she said back to me. For that split second I forgot about all my injuries until she moved to get comfortable.

"OW" I cried out. It was a little louder than expected. My eyes started watering from the pain.

"Oh Perrie I am so sorry I completely forgot" Jade said while getting off the bed.

"So did I" I said smiling. She brought her hand up to my cheek. Once again I flinched.

"Perrie" her voice was quiet and calming. Her hand touched my face as she brushed away the tears. I relaxed at her touch. Her hand trailed from my face down my arm and she laced her fingers in mine.

"You have to trust me" she said giving my hand a long kiss. Her lips felt so soft and gentle against my skin. I brought my fingers under her chin as her lips parted from my hand. I used as much energy as I could to sit up. When my back was straight I took in a deep breath. The pain I was in was incredible. Jade just sat their watching me struggle. I don't know if she was too frightened to do anything or just didn't know how to help.

"Come here" I said pulling her hand. She reluctantly climbed next to me. Her tiny arms wrapped around my waist ever so gently as she rested her head under my chin.

"Jade" I said quietly. She lifted her head and looked me straight in the eyes. I brought my hand up to cup half of her face.

"I do trust you" I whispered while leaning in to give her a kiss. Her lips pressed against mine as she kissed me softly and slowly. All the pain in my body went away as I drifted off into my Jade world. I wanted more but my body was too tired.

"mhhm" someone cleared their throat. Jade and I broke apart to look at the person who had interrupted us. It was a nurse.

"Nice to see you Perrie! I just confirmed a release day with the doctor and he said you should be good to go home tomorrow" the nurse said smiling at me.

"Ok thank you" I say smiling at her. She walked out the door disappearing down the hall. My gaze shifted back to Jade as I left one more long kiss on her lips.

"Thank you for everything" I said to her.

"You're my girlfriend. The one I care about most. It's my job to protect you and save you. I wouldn't know what I would do without you" she said back to me. I felt the corners of my lips turn up into a massive smile. She smiled at me too but it soon faded seconds later.

"Jade what's wrong" I asked.

"Perrie there's something I didn't know about Sam" she said to me. My whole body froze at hearing his name. What had he done now.
