Dear Hero
It pains me to write this
But I'm afraid I must go
Your presence is killing me
Corrupting my soul
It brings tears to my eyes
Demanding this goodbye
Cause all I ever asked for
Was a sign
My hero

Don't give me a chance to crawl back
To you
We both know that would just make me a fool
A fool who is madly in love with you
Now that sign I asked for
It's very simple you see
Show me you care
Show me you will save me
Even when you see the scars
The ones that haunt my skin
Even when you hear my dreams
The dreadful ones, the ones I scream
But if you can not
Then this is goodbye
And remember
You will always be my hero
