"You're back"
The sentence was neither a question nor a statement.
"As you can see" Yoongi replied to his younger brother, who let himself in the room. His eyes jumped to Jimin and the two boy's eyes locked, both of them equally irritated by seeing each other.
"Care to explain why you told him when you're coming back and not me?" Woozi asked, not letting Jimin out of his sight, the tension building up between them.
"I'm surprised to hear that you actually care," The blonde replied, making sure that he heard the annoyance in his tone.
Woozi finally looked away and turned his head to his brother.
"Could we talk in private?" His request seemed more like an order to the older.
"What do you have to say to me that you can not say in front of Jimin? With whom, by the way, I was in the middle of a conversation with until your appearance" he became more aggravated with each second he had to spend with his brother in the same room.
"Yoongi, this is a serious issue, we have to talk now."
He groaned as he stood up.
"Ugh, ok, make it quick"
"How quick the conversation will be depends entirely on you" Woozi stated, gesturing to the door.
Jimin caught a glance from his friend, he was sure that he will get back soon, and as he saw the door close after the two siblings left, he couldn't help but also feel relieved by the fact that Woozi left before any argument sparked up.
The two walked through the abandoned corridors of the manor, watching carefully not to trip over something due to the unlit candles. They could've entered any of the rooms next to Yoongi's, but Woozi knew this conversation may easily turn into another one of their standard arguments, so he headed a bit further away from where Jimin was.
It irritated Yoongi that everything in the house was white. He couldn't understand most Gods' obsession with the color. That was one of the few views he shared with his brother. The floor was white, the walls were white, the courts and where white and he didn't know why. In fact Yoongi hated it so much he repainted his room black, just for the sake of being different.
They reached one of the kitchens, one of the unused ones. Since they were the only ones living here, they only used a kitchen each, and took the advantage of the size of the palace to use the ones that were the furthest away from each other. And they did the same with their rooms. The walk from Woozi's room to Yoongi's was about 10 minutes. So usually, they wouldn't see each other unless they wanted to, and that happened very rarely.
"So?" Yoongi mumbled as he sat on the counter while Woozi leaned against the wall.
"I should be the one asking you. Could you please explain?"
"You're being so specific." He nagged. "What am I supposed to explain?"
"Stop pretending to be dumb, I'm talking about the whole past week. Where were you and why didn't you tell me you were leaving?"
"I doubt that you didn't hear the news. And why didn't I tell you? I'll just repeat, didn't think you really cared"
Woozi closed his eyes for a bit, trying to control his temper and not start shouting at him then and there.
"Ok then explain how you manage to get through my security" he interrogated.
"They're not really a challenge, me being me and all..." Yoongi said, smirking a bit.
Yoongi knew that this angered his brother, because even with all the power Woozi had, Yoongi was still more respected by angels, including the guards of the gates from heaven to the human world.
