I could barely make out
the creases in your cheek
from your grin
in the dimly lit hall.
"You taste like Ever-clear."
I chuckled and breathed
into your neck.
"My bad." I mumbled.
And just like that
we were at it again,
your mouth on mine.
Trying to be quiet.
I wondered how
we got to this point,
How drastically our
situation has changed.
"I'm scared to lose you.
I wouldn't be able to
get over it."
You held my cold hands.
"You'd be okay." I assured.
You shook your head.
"I don't know."
You whispered.
And that was okay.
