'Amys point of veiw'

Since i'm only 13 the only job I can have is babysitting so I put up some posters around the neighborhood. About a week later I got a call from a nice lady named Rose and she needed someone to babysit her son Andrew on the weekends while she works. We set up a date for me to go meet her, Andrew, and  learn more about the job.

*skipping to the meeting*

As my mom and I drove up to the house my heart was pounding out of my chest, I was really nervous. This was the first real babysitting job ever and I didn't want to screw it up or say anything wrong. We walked up to the front door and knocked a few moments later an average height women with black curly hair, wearing jeans, and a nice top invited us in. She said hello, shook my hand, and showed me around the house telling me her expectations for Andrew and everything else I needed to know.

*after a few times babysitting*

I got picked up to go babysit Andrew, on our way there rose said.

"my niece is over to visit this weekend I figured it would be ok, she's your age."

"oh yeah it's fine I don't mind"

When we got to her house she dropped me off and when I walked in she was sitting at the kitchen table with Andrew. They turned and looked at me, said hello, and went back to eating their dinner. I sat next to her niece, Elise, she had long brunette hair, brown colored eyes, and her skin looked really soft and smooth. When they were done eating we all headed to the living room to watch whatever Andrew picked out. We did this for a while but then the time had come to put Andrew to bed cause he had church in the morning. Once he was in bed we went back to the couch and talked about what we enjoyed. Favorite color, dream car, etc. after time went on she told me about her passed relationships with girls. We exchanged numbers and before we knew it I had to leave, right when I got home I texted her. We talked most of the night it was nice to have found someone close to home to be in a relationship.

Time passed and before I knew it we were a couple we went many places together and talked everyday. We went to the mall even though we had no money to buy anything we just walked around and tested out all the couches in J C Penny. When I say tested out I mean all we did was sit on them and kiss we didn't care if anyone was watching, we were in love so why does it matter what others think. Every time we had to leave each other 5 minutes later we were texting each other and continuing to talk like we haven't talked all day. We seemed like a perfect couple until I found out she had been hiding her sadness and depression from me.

On a night like any other we were talking about stuff and having a good time, then out of no where she said.

"would you be mad if I drank bleach"

She had never said anything about this so I was quiet concerned, I thought she was ok, however I knew she had cut in the past.  Not knowing what to do I tried to see if we could fix the problem by talking it out, this plan did not work out how I had planned.  Call after call text after text no answer. My thoughts were racing and I had no idea what to do so I called my friends to see if they had any ideas. My closest friend suggested I call the police because at this point I had no control and couldn't do much else to help. After 20 minutes of debating I decided to call, right after I called Elise called me back totally sobbing and ready to talk to me. I felt terrible because the police were already on their way I tried to explain to her what I had done but was interrupted my the police wanting to see her before she left, I will never forget her words.

" I trusted you, how dare you do this to me were over I'm done with you"

I was completely crushed the only thing I wanted was for her to get better and be happy. I only do what I think is best for both people in the relationship. Later on that night I got a call from Elise which I found weird I answered and some lady was on the phone she said.

" Hello I am Elise's mom, thank you so much for bringing this issue to my attention I didn't know she was that bad I really appreciate all you have done for us I can assure you she will be safe and ok if you want I can keep you posted on how she's doing."

"no ma'am that's ok after this I don't think she will want to talk to me for a while but thank you for calling it was very nice of you."

With a goodbye the call ended, as I began to lay there and think of what had just happened I didn't realize the tears rolling down my face. I have no one now and I'm back at square one, trying to find love.
