Chapter 6- Little Surprise

(You're p.o.v)

I hadn't noticed I had fallen asleep until I heard a voice speek through the intercom. "Dear passengers, this is your captain speaking," he said. "We will be landing Seattle, Washington in 20 minutes. Please stay seated during the landing, thank you."

At least it's not a long wait, anymore. I turned my phone on to check the time, 12:00 p.m. Won't be long till I get to my parents house. Yipee! I'mgonna have to deal with my brother. Wow, I just realized something, I'm going to Seattle, were Pax west is being held and leafy is going to be at, and where Calvin Vail lives too. And I'm not going... Fuck. My. LIFE!

(Time skip to your parents house)

After being away for so long and coming back, it felt like I was gone for barely a few days. Everything looked the same, other than the pictures of my brother, there's a lot more of those now. When I arrived, my mom attacked me with hugs and kisses. "Oh my goodness, (Y/n)! Look at you, you look so nice!!" She practically yelled. "It's nice to see you too, mom." I interrupted before she could say more. "Oh, right! Percy! She yelled up the stairs after she let you go.
(My story, I get to name your parents and family members) "What is it, Marina?" My dad said. "Come say high to your daughter! NOW! You too, Jake!" She yelled back up the stairs again.

(Time skip again because who wants to hear about your weird family?)

"So these are the emergency numbers here's the money to buy food and what you'll need, and don't forget to remind Jake to take his medicine." Said your mother halfway in the taxi. "Yeah, yeah I got. We'll be fine, just go already!" You said lightly pushing her into the taxi. "Ok fine. You two behave, alright?" "Yeah~" You and Jake said in miserable harmony. With that your parents got in the taxi, and left for the airport.

You turned to say something to Jake, but he wasn't there. 'Oh, great. First day of babysitting and I already lost him!' You thought to yourself, walking back into the house.

(Your p.o.v.)

I walked back in the house to see if Jake had come back in, as well. He wasn't in the living room nor the kitchen, so I headed upstairs to see if he was in his room. As I had thought, he was in his room. I could here the gun shots from the video game he was playing.

I knocked softly but loud enough for Jake to hear, "Jake? Can I come in?" I asked hoping he wasn't in a bad mood. I heard the gun shots stop and his steps toward the door, he looked somewhat tired and agrivated but I could tell he was sad by the look in his eyes.

"What do you want?" He asked sternly.

I sighed before answering, "Look I know that you don't like the idea of me taking care of you and all that, but we'll have to both deal with it."

He looked at me as if trying to get a joke or something. "Ok, sis." He said quietly.

I looked at him stunned, he hasn't called me sis since he was 12. I was going to ask something but Jake interrupted me before I could.

"What can I say? I missed you." He said smiling weakly and going back to playing his game. "That was cringey But yeah... I missed you too Jakey"

(24 hour time skip)
               《normal p.o.v.》

You woke up the next morning feeling like shit. You felt so much like shit that you decided not to get out of bed, instead you browsed the Twitter seeing bunches of tweets of who knows what. The only tweets you actually read at their fullest were Calvin's tweets, after reading plenty of tweets,  (by that I mean reading 3 words off of them), you opened up YouTube and watched cat videos until you got a notification of a new LeafyIsHere video. You pressed play and started the video, you enjoyed watching his videos it was a facecam video so you enjoyed it more every time he smiled a bit.

When the video ended you felt better, so you decided to get something to eat. You checked your phone for the time, 9:32 a.m. Damn, you were in bed for a while. You got up and got dressed in a pair of (f/c) jeans and a (f/c) long sleeve shirt. You put your converse on and agent down stairs. To your suprise Jake was already awake. "It's about time you got up, I wanted to give you something I forgot to give you yesterday." He said with a laugh. "Here!" He said smiling while giving you an envelope pith the PAX logo on it. You opened it to find passes for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for Pax West.
