"And with his mighty sword he shall vanquish all of Satan's demons and light many aflame on the Holy night. He shall save his people in righteousness and lead them on their ever so willing path."

The Church began to clap for me and I smiled. Another great way to end a Wednesday. Preaching as always.
"I hope to see you all at our annual get together this Saturday. It's time for our annual potluck, I hope you all invite your friends to join in on the fun." I announced.

Everyone was getting up out of their seats and heading for the door, some lightly laughing and nodding their heads to my announcement. I sighed and smiled. It brings me joy to see everyone happy and enjoying the time spent at church.

I closed the Holy Bible. "See you next week, friend." I said to myself.
As I gathered my bag, a small little girl in brown pigtails and a pink dress ran up to me.

"Pastor Pastor! Can I please get a hug?" I smiled. What a sweet endearing little girl. "Why yes, of course." I leaned down and she jumped into my arms, giggling. Right behind her was her mom, smiling approvingly.

"I wanna see God too! Have you seen God yet? What's he like?" She pried. I laughed. "Why, God is up in heaven. He doesn't want us to see him yet." I answered. "But one of these days, he'll come down and show himself to all his people. He cares a lot about us. He loves us very much. You'll get to see him one day. We all will."

"But if you've never seen him, how do you know he exists? Why do you tell people about him if you've never seen him??"

"Alexandra!" Her mom gaped. I just lightly put my hand up to shush her mother. She nodded. "Because, when you have faith in someone, when you put all your trust into someone, they must exist right? It's all about having faith and believing. Anything in this world can happen, so who is to say that God exists or doesn't exist, little one?" I asked her.

She slowly nodded her head, but I doubt she understood a lot of what I said. She looked about 6 or 5, obviously not old enough to get my talk.

Her mom grabbed her daughter's hand, and pulled her away from me. "Alright Alexandra, enough of the questions. Say bye to Pastor Ekiel. See you Saturday, Pastor Ekiel!" Her mom waved me off. "Bye-Bye Passssstorrrr!" Her little girl dragged out. I chuckled as I watched them leave. Cute little girl. I really do hope to see them come back again.

I bent down beside the podium and began again to gather my things.
"Pastor! Pastor?" I sighed internally and slowly looked up to see one of the catholic school girls from the catholic school across the street looking down at me. It's Tammy. A 16 year old junior at the high school.

Tammy is a girl with brownish red hair, and nice tan skin. She's a girl with a big chest and a big butt, widely known for her good looking face and bubbly personality. And her promiscuous ways.

She would come to visit me at the church every now and then, making small talk. She started coming around four months ago, trying to make friends inside and out of the church. I used to think she was wanting to convert her faith but soon she began to get touchy touchy with me, more flirty, and I realized she wanted me. Totally not the righteous faith. Since then, I've been trying to act oblivious and turn away her hasty actions towards me.

"Hm? Nice to see you dropping by Tammy. Thinking of converting to Christianity?" I got up and reached for my bible from the podium but it wasn't there. "Hm?" Where did it go...?

"Looking for this?" Tammy smiled as she held the Holy Bible in her hand.

I gave her a weak smile to hide my annoyance. "Now come on Tammy. Hand it over. That's my Bible." "Oh I know what it is. " She giggled. "I was hoping you'd let me keep it. I like Christianity. What would you think if I converted, hm?"

"Tammy, why, I think it'd be great if you did! We have a potluck this weekend if you really want to come see what we are like here. And you know very well I can't let you keep it. You can buy yourself one. That's my own. Hand it over."
"Awww. How sweet of you to invite me. But-"
"Hand. It. Over."

"Psh. How rude." She threw the Bible harshly at me and played with the new hems of her skirt. She hemmed her skirt for the third time this week, it showing a lil way past the three inch mark above her knees. I sighed and placed the Bible carefully into my bag before getting up and facing her.

"You know, you shouldn't hem your skirts any shorter. The nuns ought to be mad at you any day now for your secret hemmings." I muttered as I pushed past her. She laughed lightly.
"Hemming them is the only way to get boys, sir. No one likes a prude girl with a skirt to her calves. It's quite embarrassing and childish. I was hoping you'd take notice and-"

I turned around sharply only to find her right behind me. She had been following me closely and was taken aback at my sudden turn. "And what? Become a registered sex offender to a girl who can't keep it in her pants? Sorry, but no thanks. Goodbye, Tammy. Have a good day and stay in class."

She stood with her mouth wide open, not knowing how to respond to my sudden outburst. I opened the door and she walked out, I closed and locked it with my keys.

Just as I was about to get in my car, she shouted at me. "You're so rude, Mr. Ekiel! Why can't you just take my offer and leave it at that?" She then stormed off in the other direction. I sighed.
What does she want with a man like me? Doesn't she know that's rape and wrong?

I started my car and began to drive off, leaving the thoughts about Tammy far away from me.

"Honey, you're home!" I was greeted with a wide array of kisses from my wife. She pulled away and I smiled. Her pretty brown hair and smiley face always made my coming home a nice and welcoming feeling. I've never missed her more.
"Dinner will be on the table in a few but first, can you go to the store to get something for me?" She said.

"Yeah sure, what do you need?" I asked as I undid my belt that was wrapped around my waist.
"Uh...uhm. Tampons. Heh." She stuttered nervously. I smiled. "Sure. What kind?" "Always. You'll see it in the lady aisle, get me some large ones please. Thank you, love you!" She smiled as she leaned in to give me a kiss. I laughed. "Sure. Anything for you."

I began to head out the door before she pulled me back. "Here," she said while shoving a black hoodie into my arms. "Take this, there's gonna be a cold front any minute now and I don't want you to get sick." I smiled.

"Thanks dear. Love you."
