"Oh god I'm late!" I rush down a flight of stairs while looking at my wrist watch for the time. My heart almost skipped a beat, the movie had started 20 minutes ago , I rushed by my purse forgetting to grab it. I rushed out the door letting it close behind me. I stop realizing I had forgotten my purse with the keys to the apartment. I tried to get back in but the door automatically locks when it closes. I sigh then pull my phone out of the pocket of my jeans. I dial my friend Marie's phone number.
"Please leave a message after the beep." *beep*
"Hello, it's me Christina, You're phone must be on do not disturb so I'll make this short. I locked myself outside my apartment and I'm stuck with no money. I'll see you at work tomorrow. Bye." I sigh again I walk to the elevator *ding* the door slides open revealing a man about three inches taller than me with black hair and sparkling blue eyes that shine as beautifully as sapphires when he looks up in the direction of the elevator light. I walk in and stand next to him I was about to press the button to the lobby but then...
"What floor are you heading to?" He said. He had an amazing voice it wasn't deep nor was it high and squeaky. It was soothing it was like I was being hypnotized falling into a deep trance by the sound of his voice.
"The lobby please." My heart was pounding. They way he stood, leaning to one side, his untucked shirt, his bangs that droop over to the side, he was really cute. I needed to know his name, but I couldn't ask right now, all I needed to know was if he stayed at the same building.
"Hey, sorry to bother but..." I started shaking I wasn't able to move or look at him. I was completely frozen. He turn and looked at me.
"Go on, we're you're going to have to get out soon." He looked at me with his ocean blue eyes shimmering in the light.
"Do y-you live in this apartment building." I said while turning around and shutting my eyes tight. There was a moment of silence. It got kind of awkward then I heard his angelic voice once again
"Well duh? Aren't I in the same elevator as you." He says while he laughs. I let out a shy laugh while letting myself go and blushing. *ding* the elevator doors slide open once again I step out while waving goodbye to him he looks at me and smiles and waves back.
