Two Sides

~Sunday~

Ayano's POV

I woke up in 2 A.M in the morning, I heard low growls, 'ah...Lilith must be awake already...' I look at Emiko who was still sleeping soundly as I silently walked out of the room and walked down to the basement. Ever since the day I kept her here, she kept on trying to escape, I'm slightly worried that she might find a way to get out and start a killing spree! 'I don't really care if everyone else dies as long as Emiko and my other friends are safe...I swore to Emiko's father that I'll protect Emiko and the others with my life!' I locked the door behind me and looked at Lilith who was wide awake.

"Why are you trying to save your friends? After all the trouble they gave you..."
"Don't try to be persuasive, Lilith! I won't let you corrupt my mind like you did to Yuki!"
"Come onnn~ let me go~ I'll let your lovely friends live~ we'll rule this cursed world together!!!"

I bit my lip as I thought about it, 'I've always wanted to rule the world...and Emiko can be safe! Maybe I should...' Lilith grinned as I loosened the straps. She jumped off of the table and stretched her arms and legs.

"Ah! Finally free!!! Now..."

"Time to die!!"

Lilith grinned at me and started walking towards me with a surgical tool, I slowly backed against the wall.

"I-I thought you said we'll rule the world together?..."
"Heh heh~ sorry not sorry, Ayano~ no witnesses~"
"W-wait! I can make you s-stronger! Do you see that invention?"

I pointed to a gun looking contraption on a table, Lilith looked over at it suspiciously and glared at me suspiciously.

"How do you use it?"
"A-all you have to do is point it at your temple, pull the trigger and the power should go through your brain! It's not a gun by the way, I call it the 'Chaos 1000'!"

Lilith looked at me suspiciously before grabbing the gun and doing what I said, her eyes widened as she faints. I slowly sighed in relief as she picked up the gun looking object.

"...this should help get Yuki back...I'm glad that my mother took me to those theatre classes with her..."

A white light flashes, causing me to cover my eyes, after the white light passes away I looked at Yuki...my eyes widened, instead of just one body...there were two. I looked at the machine weirdly, wondering how this happened. I looked back at the pair as I heard groans, they opened their eyes, one was Yuki's normal blue eyes and the other one's were like Lilith's. The girl with Lilith's eyes, widened her eyes as she looked at her body. She looked at Yuki and slightly growled at her, Yuki backed away against a wall fearfully.

"What?! How did you get your own body back?! It was supposed. to. be. MINEEE!"

Before I could process what was happening, Lilith started to pounce on Yuki, Yuki cowered slightly. My eyes widened as Mysterion went in front of Yuki and pinned Lilith to the ground.

"Grrr! Get off of me, you disrespectful man!"

I sighed in relief and offered Yuki a hand, she took my hand and got up.

"T-thank you, Ayano..."
"Don't thank me, thank Mysterion..."

Yuki nodded and was about to thank Mysterion, but he held shook his head.

"You don't have to thank me, it's my job to defend this small town..."

Mysterion looked at me and then at Lilith, I nodded my head, took out a needle and handed to Mysterion. Mysterion inserted the needle into Lilith's neck, Lilith went limp.

"Thanks again, Mys-"

I looked back at where Mysterion was at to see he wasn't there, 'that guy is sure mysterious...' I sighed before turning to Yuki, slightly smiling.

"I knew that person who killed those five wasn't you...I'm glad you're safe, Yuki..."

Yuki smiled back at me, her smile slowly fading away as she looked at me, horrified.

"I didn't kill Rosy right?!"
"Nope...she's just...slightly scared of you.."
"I figured that you'd said that...I'm just glad Lilith didn't kill her..."

My eyes widened as the last sentence reminded me of something, I looked at Yuki slightly seriously as I strapped Lilith to a table.

"Speaking of Lilith...why did you make a deal with a demon in the first place??"

Yuki frowned as she looked at the ground, twiddling her fingers.

"She made a deal with me when I was in high school, I didn't know that making a deal with a demon was bad back then, she told me that I could have Hisato all to myself...She said that if I gave her my soul, she could help me win his heart...at first, when you said that we might be leaving, I got scared that I'll never see Hisato no more. But then...I met Kenny! He is so sweet and kind! Lilith noticed my feelings for him and got angry...and t-threatened to s-shut me out of my body! I was so s-scared, Ayano...I was so scared..."

Yuki started crying as she clinged onto my body, my eyes soften as I petted her head gently and telling her that it'll be alright.

"I'll go tell the sheriff that you were framed...the police here aren't that bright anyways.."

Yuki's eyes widened as she hugged me, still crying.

"Thank you! Thank you, Ayano! I'm forever in your debt!"
"No problem, Yuki...now let's go visit (y/n) and the others, so she knows that you're not a serial killer."
"O-okay, as long as I'm with you, it's okay..."

(Y/n)'s POV

I was hanging out with my friends, we were just eating pocky and talking about life when I heard knocking on my door, 'huh?? I wonder who it can be...' I walked to the door and opened it, seeing Ayano and Yuki who was looking at the ground.

"Oh hey Ayano! Hey Yuki..."
"Hello."
"Hey..."
"Come in guys!"

Ayano walked in quickly, Yuki just walked in slowly, I sat on my bed slightly more confused than the others who looked at Yuki. Ayano cleared her throat and and spoke.

"You guys probably know about Yuki's crimes...it may be hard to understand but...Yuki was framed..."

"What?!"
