Luna can see that Rolf is clearly nervous in her presence and the sight is quite cute to her in a strange sense. She hears the stutter inflected in his deep voice and it makes her smile slightly as she approaches him slowly. She knows that she has the upper hand in this situation as it stands now but she has no malicious intent as she aims to use this upper hand to her advantage. How could she not when she knows more about this young man than he believes her to know? This question brings a certain smile to the younger witch's lips as she slips down onto his lap.

She straddles him with a sense of marked ease as she slides her arms around his neck in a loose embrace. She lets her hands dangle off of his shoulders as she clasps them beneath his thick brown hair. She had never done something like this before but she feels neither awkward or uncomfortable in any way. She knows that Rolf is trembling violently underneath her tiny body but this is one situation she does not know how to react to in the heat of the moment. Why would he be frightened enough of the situation to be trembling in such a violent way?

It makes no sense to the younger woman but she does not ask him about it as she hums quietly to herself in a scratchy alto voice. She knows that she has a singing voice that no one was ever expecting but she does not use it very often at all except when she is completely alone. She had been alone in her apartment for so long after graduating from Hogwarts that she has forgotten what it means to have a living space to share with someone. She almost doesn't know what to do with herself now that she has what she is looking for but she does want to do something at least while she has him in this position.

What could she convince him of? She believes herself able to convince him that the sky is in fact violet-colored rather than the sky-blue everyone was taught to believe as toddlers. She looks up at him to try this train of thought as a slightly-seductive look appears on her facial features. "What if I told you that the sky is purple and not blue? Would you believe me, big boy? Or would you call your new employee a liar?" She had not expected him to want her as an employee since she believed he had used this tactic as a way to throw his main competitor, Luna's former employer, under the bus.

She was not expecting him to be serious in his job offer, though she had accepted the offer all the same. Why had she done that when she was perfectly happy at her former place of employment? She will never understand her choices in matters such as this one but she trusts her inner judgment that had told her to accept the job offer as it stands in front of her. Hell...why not? She has need of a new adventure anyway.

Rolf wrapped his arms around her waist automatically as she sat on his lap. He did not want her to fall to the floor after she put herself in his hands. He leaned forward slightly to inhale the scent of her hair and her neck and let out a happy sigh. He had always wanted to hold her and now he had his chance to do just that. She was so tiny compared to him and he wanted to be sure that he did not break her. Holding her gently, he gazed into her eyes, still speechless from the moments before. It was hard to believe that he was holding her. Something that he had always wanted to do.

Though he was still trembling from his shyness, he wanted more than anything to answer her question. If she said the sky was chartreuse with pink and blue polka dots he would believe her. So the question she proposed to him was real. He would agree and believe her.

"I would believe your word to be gospel truth, darling."

He smiled at her as he stuttered once more. She was now in his arms and he was still trembling. A little out of nervousness and a little out of excitement. If she didn't like him the way he liked her, she wouldn't be in his arms right now. Would she? He knew that she was not a fickle person and that she would let him know in uncertain terms that she didn't like him that way if she didn't. He gently pulled her closer now as he pressed a soft kiss against her cheek. Another action that caused him to blush furiously but he still enjoyed the feel of her skin against his lips. She was soft and warm.

He cleared his throat as he tried to speak again but was unable to for a moment. The beauty in his arms had him tongue tied and he was trying to hide how much she was driving him wild but he was sure she sensed it anyway. He knew that she was attracted to him as well. Why would she let him hold her and snuggle her in his arms? When he was finally able to speak, he gazed deeply into her eyes.

"What do you say we go get lunch and then we can be on our way. Th....th....this is a big story and you will be part of proving there are more species  of magical creatures out there and we will be studying them and writing the text book for Hogwarts. Like my grandfather did with the one book that we used."

He waited patiently for her to let him know that she was ready to go. He had always wanted to work with her as a team and well, truth be known, he wanted her to be his. He wanted more than anything to marry her and keep her in his arms as much as possible, though he knew that they would have an everyday life that they had to live. He was already in love with her and he knew that she was starting to like him as well and that made his heart leap with more than excitement.
