Hey guys. Yeah, I know it's been a while. Ok. That's a complete understatement. It has been at least a year since I got any new updates to you guys and if you're still here, then I seriously don't deserve you. At all. To make up for it here I am, with a chapter in Max's POV as promised. Before I start can we just address the fact that we have over 21k views and 1k votes? Seriously guys, you're the best. Anyway, you've waited long enough. On with the story.

P.S. You might want to re read the other chapters considering it's probably been a while, and it's pretty easy to forget what's going on to be honest.

<Max POV>

As we pulled up to Kenna's driveway, I had to force myself to let her get out of my car. Her smell is so intoxicating and it was hard for me to concisely let her walk out of my car. But I did. I let her walk out, only uttering a small "Later Kenna." She only gave me a funny look and walked right into her house.

I forced myself to drive away from her, and it was hard. Really hard. I managed to get a few blocks before my inner voice or what most people call it "their wolf" convinced myself that it was best to turn around. The conversation went a little like this:

Blake (my wolf): Woah woah woah. Whats going on here. Hold up. Are you driving away from our mate right now?

Max (me): Well, yeah. She's obviously a little freaked out, and not that happy with us right now because of the whole missing school thing. And the kidnapping thing too I guess.

Blake: And you call those excuses? What if she gets hurt? What if she's crying right now? What if she's with another guy?

Max: Oh my God, you're right.

And with that, I raced back to Kenna's house just a little (35 mph) over the speed limit. By the time I got back, I saw a very skanky looking girl booking it out of Kenna's house. Huh. That's a little weird. I thought about going in,  but then remembered that she was here to talk to her mom, and I was here to make sure she was safe.

Just then, my thoughts were interrupted by... A GUY? Okay Max, stay calm. There has to be an explanation for this. I mean she couldn't have a boyfriend could she? No, I mean- DID HE JUST PUT HIS ARM ON HER SHOULDER? Okay. This is getting out of hand.

Then I remembered that Kenna knew what my car looks like because I just drove her here, and it would probably be smart if I moved out of the way instead of just sitting here for her to realize that I was kind of stalking her.

Kenna's yellow bug rolled out of her drive way, and it only took a second for me to decide that I could not leave her alone with a different guy that is not me.

It only took ten minutes for her to reach there destination. It was a small yet homey diner called Jimmy's. Hold up. Does this mean that they're on a date? This is so not okay.  Still, I made myself give her some space, and just watched them through the window. They looked like they were having a great time. Why couldn't she act like that around me?

Finally, after over 45 minutes, I decided enough was enough. When I walked in, I watched Kenna and her boyfriend look each other, take a deep breath, and say at the exact same time "I'm driving!" this was automatically followed by "Jinx!" and then of course you had to say "Jinx again!" It reminded me of that one song in Frozen where Princess Anna and that asshole named Hans were singing about sandwiches or something. At one point they crossed their fingers and said "Jinx! Jinx again!". Please don't ask me how I know so much about that movie considering that I am of the male species.

Anyway, I had to say something to get their attention, so I went with "Well isn't this cute. Do you guys like Frozen or something?" I then slid into the booth right next to Kenna.
