Yeah she knows what I'm thinking

My friends know that she's taken

When she's dancing,

She shakes it like Metro Station (Shake, shake it)

I know she gives me plenty

She always understands me

With her I'm never empty

She's always with me

It's not the scene you're in.

It's what I'm seeing under your skin

Yeah, you got me hooked

It’s not the outside

It’s the Inside

That fills my life

My heart is what you took

You got the look

I started to get nervous as Joe went to answer the door. I heard a little conversation, nice conversation. I was so glad Joe was behaving himself. I know they were protective, but sometimes they could be overly protective. He wasn’t though, he was actually being nice.

“Jen!” he called, “Mitchel’s here.” I slowly walked into the foyer and let his eyes hit me. He seemed to stopped and lock eyes with mine. It was like we were the only two people in the room. Joe rolled his eyes and walked away, leaving me there with Mitchel.

“You look amazing,” he said, “Just stunning.” I smiled and let him take my hand and lead me to his car.

“Have her back by 10!” Joe yelled out.

“1! Her curfew is one!” my mom yelled after us. I laughed a little and gave my brothers a little wave as we pulled out of the driveway.

“You look amazing,” I said, taking in his outfit, “I feel a little over dressed, but you look amazing.” He smiled and took my hand.

“Don’t you worry,” he said, “You look amazing.” I smiled and as we pulled up to the restaurant. I let him offer me his hand as he opened my door. He helped me out of the car, handed the keys to the valet, and walked us in. His hand never left my lower back, as if he was protecting me. We spent dinner laughing, enjoying each other’s company. The lights went low on the dance floor and they started playing music. He stood up and smiled at me

“Would you like to dance?” he asked, offering me his hand. I took his hand and let him lift me up. He led me onto the dance floor and pull me close to him. I put my arms nervously around his neck and his arms went tight around my back. I could FEEL him breathing and I am sure he could feel my heart racing a mile a minute. I rested my head in the crook of his neck and just took in the smell of his hair. His hands were lightly brushing up and down my back, till I felt one of them on my arm. I looked up and just stood there staring at each other. I smiled, my face hot from my heart beating so fast and being so nervous.

His hand went to my face, and his eyes just burned with a pleading look, as if asking permission. I just wasn’t sure what he wanted permission for. He slowly leaned in, slowly, waiting for my protest. When I realized he wanted to kiss me I let him. My eyes closed and when his lips hit mine all my air seemed to stop for a second, His lips were so soft, gently caressing mine, and mine returning it. He didn’t even try to slip any tongue, just a soft, gentle, and sweet kiss. It was amazing. MY eyes were still closed adn our foreheads leaned into one another’s. I smiled as my eyes opened to see his shining.

“That was-” I started, but he just nodded in response. The song had long ended and we were still standing in the middle of the dance floor, his arms around my waist and my hea don his shoulder, moving slowly to the music in our heads. We finally migrated back to the table, enjoying the rest of our drinks, talking enjoying each others touches and body heat.

When he drove me home it was a comfortable silence, his fingers locked tight with mine. I Smiled the whole way home. I was flaling hard foe him, much faster than I expected. He was just so amazing, sweet, funny, and sexy as hell. When we pulled up to the house my brothers were peering out the window, causing the uneasiness to return. I seen my mom and dad grab each of them by the ear and pulled htem awya from the window, causing me to giggle.

He came around to my side of the car and let me out, takign my hand. We walked up queitly to the door and he just took my hand sin his and before he even had a chance to think bout it, I kissed him. HIs lips were happy to meet mine, in another mesh of lips that seemed so much sweeter and gentler than I could have hope, but this time his tongue hit my lips, asking for permission to pass them. I parted my lips slowly, letting his tongue flick over my teeth. I let my tongue meet his, his arms now tight around my back, my arms massaging the back of his neck. When we pulled apart we were both breathing heavily.

“Good night,” he whispered, slowly releasing his hold me.

“Good night,” I said, letting my hand brush his face before he started to turn around.

“I’ll text you tomorrow,” he said, walking back to his car.

“Okay,” was all I could muster out. I turned around and opened my door. I watch him drive away and then close my door. I put my back to it, let out a small squeal and slowly fall down against the door...........
