Chapter six

Alexis POV

"I'm going to go for a walk okay?" I said to Paige who nodded. I stood up and went to the door.

"Ali, I'll come with you" I heard Shane say and stood up.

'Me too!" Damien stated before coming over to me and standing by the door. Shane following behind. Damien opened the door and we walked out. I stood between the two and we walked quietly for a while without seeing anyone. We reached a place where a few guys were playing basketball. I stopped and sat down on a bench nearby and watched them. Shane and Damien stood either side of me. I watched the guys play the game and when it started to get late, Damien offered his hand to me.

"It is getting late. We should head back." He said quietly to which I responded by nodding my head in agreement. I took his hand and he pulled me up gently. We walked back to my dorm room and sat down on the sofa next to a dozing Paige. Everyone accept Taylor had gone to their room which was next to mine. I motioned with ny hand for him to get me the blanket from the back of the other sofa. He did so and I gently placed it over Paige without waking her up.

"I'm going to bed. Goodnight Taylor, Shane and Damien." I whispered trying not to wake up my sleeping roommate.

"Goodnight." They all said at the same time. "We will see you in the morning." They bowed their heads slightly and Shane and Damien left, closing the door behind me. Taylor stayed and simply sat down on the other sofa and watched the door. I walked over to my room and opened the door and stepped in. I closed my door behind me and grabbed some pajamas and walked over to the conjoined bathroom. I turned the shower on and locked the bathroom door. I took my clothes off and quickly climbed in. Once the water started to turn cold, I climbed out and dried myself. I put my pajamas on and unlocked the door. I climbed into bed and fell asleep, hoping that my first day of classes would go quickly.
