chapter 2

------- a few hours later ----------

Me and five of the palaces bodyguards (did i mention that i am the vampire princess?) pulled up into the schools car park. Me and the best guard chase were in a red ferrari and the remaining guards were in their cars. I watched as chase turned the engine off once the other guards had parked their cars and were stood outside of the car waiting for us. Chase came around to my side and opened the door offering me his hand, i took it and he helped me out. He turned around and locked the car. The other guards were around me. Chase put his arm around my shoulders to make sure i wouldnt try to get away from them. We walked slowly to the schools reception area. Damien, one of the guards with me opened the door for me and chase.

'Hello miss, we're new here and we need to get our class schedual.' Damien said politily to the receptionist. She looked at us all.

'Names?' she asked loudly, her voice was shrill and hurt my ears.

'Alexis, Chase, Damien, Shane, Taylor and Jack.' Damien spoke leaning against the desk casually. The old receptionist nodded and sifted through the papers on her desk untill she came across a group of sheets. She picked them up and examined them to make sure they were all there. A few minutes later we were on our way to our room. The boys were in the room next to mine because the school wouldn't let with them. We got to my room which was 4B and the boys room was room 4C. I noticed that Jack and Taylor were carrieng a few of my bags. Damien opened the door room and held it open for me and chase who'se arm was still around my shoulders. I walked into the large main room and i heard a squeal from a girl who i guess was my roomate. She came running towards us and chase pulled me closer to him. I pulled away from him and looked over my shoulder at the two boys carrieng my stuff and told them to come in and put my stuff in the living room. I turned back to my roomate and a grin spread across her face as she held out her left hand to me.

'Hey, my names Paige Lemmon, your new roomate, your other roomates is out at the moment with some of our friends but i wanted to meet you and welcome you to the school' she said happily, her voice was soft and was kind. I shook her hand quickly before letting it go.

'I'm Alexis' i smiled at her. 'And this is chase, damien, jack, taylor and shane.' i said indicating to everyone when i said their names.
