Blazing Soul

The Disaster

There once was a boy named Zim. He was raised up by his family after his parents died, when he was 3, in front of his very eyes. But when he entered into high school he moved out and started to live on his own. On the mother side of his family they questioned why he would, and the father side of the family chose to accept his choice. It's been 13 years now, and Zim was finally 16. Over the summer he chose to get an apartment in the city where very few knew his family. He didn't want to be supported by them, so he got a job at a small cafe. He was able to buy the essentials, and in the middle of doing so ran into his childhood friend Ty. They were close until he had to move under odd circumstances, but Ty was also looking for a job and housing. So, Zim suggested they room and work together, and as soon as he agreed they realized they were going to the same High School.

Zim and Ty worked and earned their own stuff through their hard work. But, throughout the summer Zim had started having weird dreams of giant creatures. Some were human like, some outer detailed animals and even some made of pure energy with physical bodies. It wasn't uncommon for their body to match their personality. Zim was having this weird dreams once in while, but it soon became constant. This was like a sign to him because it happened every time he went to sleep. But, Zim blew it off like it was nothing, and he went to tell his friend Ty, who was stuck in his own room playing online games all day since they just paid rent. Ty was eating snacks and enjoying himself, but decided to actually pay attention to the last part of Zim's dream. He replied, "oh wow, that's crazy man just umm...sleep and see what happens next." He wasn't paying attention obviously but the suggestion stuck to him better than anything Zim thought up.

Zim decided to go to bed either way since school was tomorrow. As he hopped into his king sized bed and relaxed, he dozed off slowly. But, when he opened his eyes he wasn't in his home. He was somewhere else standing beside a massive Hellhound wolf with hollowed out, dark void-like eyes. The Hellhound wolf's eyes were staring into his very existences as it spoke in a deep voice in a mix of cries of fear. "Help us or your world will suffer too!" Just when it spoke, a dark, figureless void came from the sky and started to consume the world around him. Zim panicked and woke up sweating heavily. It was morning when he woke up and it was the first day of high school. As he didn't want to come out, his friend Ty bust through the door. "WAKE UP PUT YOUR UNIFORM ON AND LET'S GET TO STEPPIN!" Zim ignored his friend and decided to go back to bed. Ty sighed and thought about what to do next.

The moment that Ty walked out the door he ran back and jumped into the air, double drop kicking his boi. He landed on the ground, which was impressive for someone who was 5"6. Ty was short but strong, and his athletic ability shows more than his height. He decided to drag, the now foaming out the mouth, Zim out of the bed. As he poked him a bit, he woke up and looked exhausted. "You're bad and you should feel bad." Ty poured water on his face as he went and fixed his uniform. As Zim flailed like a fish out of water, he got up and sighed. He headed to the bathroom and fixed himself up. Zim then looked around and started to talk to himself in the mirror. His reflection talked back, and he didn't have time to ask the question he wanted. So, he stepped out and went to school with his friend. Once they got to school, he sat beside his best friend Ty and said "you suck..."

They both waited for the Principal to talk to their class as he walked in his whole body looked tensed as if he was a Demon but when he spoke it was soft and gentle he came out and spoke about how this school year was going to be great and how everything that they said about rats being in the floorboards was wrong but Zim just ignored him talking to Ty but when the principal called for the class president to take on the stand as she walked up and with her long silky hair and black and red uniform it was a perfect fit for her 5"4 body type but Zim even though he was a good boy he couldn't help but stare at her and her beautiful hazel colored eye and soft smile as she spoke about joining student council as he thought it was his chance to get closer to her till suddenly an earthquake caused the school to rumble and shake but he couldn't help but let his rebellious side kick in as his friend suggested they sneak out he saw the girl of his dream trip about to fall off the stand as he watched time slowed down and he had only two choices leave to hang with his friends and let her fall or catch her and see what happens.
