Zim had fought back against Xerxe's and broken his grasp around his new friend but at the cost of being horribly wounded with the help of the slow regeneration from Pyro who made the pain a bit barrable but at the end of the day all they learned was that someone was pulling the strings behind the scene now bedridden after his fight our hero was soon about to have another rude awakening, now let's continue where we last left off.

A few days after his big fight Zim wasn't allowed visitors so he could heal properly as a whole week went by he laid on his bed with a wet rag keeping him cooled down as he felt himself falling Deep inside his own on his hospital bed was Zim lost in his own thoughts, his body was a bit sore from his wounds by now had healed up thanks to Pyro but some of the scaring would stay even if the healing was closing and sealing his wounds it could only do but so much but after staying in the hospital a few of the patience peeked in with him, he looked young around 4 with Scruffy blond hair as he ran up patting his wound immediately

???: Mister how you get that ouchie?

Zim flinched as he seemed surprised more than hurt as he showed a scar over his stomach it was pretty big as the boy had seemed interested in Zim and the rumor he heard about him Zim took a sharp breath as he looked at the kid and laughed a bit thinking what to say.

Zim: well I was beating up a bad guy and he ended up hurting me but, then he almost beat me by using his strongest so I pushed back with mine and beat him up he didn't stand a chance.

Zim laughed as he looked at the child he looked so excited seeing his first super hero as he climbed up and sat beside him wanting to hear more as Zim spent most of the day talking to him about his big fight, a few nurses saw and smiled sadly about the sight as he rubbed his head thinking about how to make it more exciting for him as a sudden honk made him jump as he turned to the side to see a black feathered white belly goose as he turned around tilted his head.

Zim: umm is he with you...?

Chris: Oh oh my bad that's my best friend Mr.death beak of doom and my name is Chris I forgot to say my name my bad mister what's yours?

Zim: It's Zim but I didn't know pets where allowed to be in the hospital speaking of which why are you in the hospital Chris?

Chris happy smile slightly looked somewhat distant for a minute as he turned to Mr.DeathBeak who was pecking at some of Zim's fruit the room was quite as the sound of pecking filled the silent room as Chris messed with his hands

Chris: He's not a pet he's my bestfriend and the reason I'm here is.... I-i have a illness and my mom and dad said they have to go to work lots to help me with medical bills but the doctor said I might not make it so I only want them to see me before I take the forever nap..

Zim: w-what!?! Do you know what kind of sickness you have it's alright if you don't I'll figure it out.

The goose landed in Chris hands as he didn't know what to say but he felt like he understood that Zim wouldn't do anything to hurt him or laugh remembering when the other kids he use to play with turned on him when he got sick and even bullied him for his sickness.

Chris: it's called a kitty kidney infection and he said I have to go and get surgery and it cost a lot so mom and dad our working while they get me ready, my grandma use to have the same thing my momma said it was fake but she died in the hospital and now that I have it they don't wanna lose me either my doctor had her too so they think I'll be fine if he cares for me.

Zim listened in disbelief as he saw the doctor come around the corner calling around for him, Zim looked as the doctor that looked at him came through Dr.Evermore a great doctor known for being a hard worker and loving his patients as Chris gripped the sheet that Zim was under and looked more nervous when he came, the curious look on his face was clear something wasn't right whispering over to Chris.
