Chapter Three

The Shower

The guy carried me across the street and set me down in front of his house.
"Are you s-sure I can st-stay?" I ask shivering from the cold. He didn't answer. Instead he grabbed me by the waist and pulled me to his chest as he opened the door. As soon as we were inside he closed the door and let me go.

"There is a shower in this room." He said pointing to the first door on the left. "Use it and get warmed up. When your done there is a towel in there and then I'll let you borrow one of my tops. I'm not letting you put them back on." He said pointing at my clothes that were soaking wet from the melted snow.

"Thank you." I said again.

He nodded and pointed to the door opposite the one with the shower.

"That's the guest room, I'll put the top in there."

I nodded and made my way to the shower.

I walked into the bathroom and it was surprisingly clean. Everything had a place. The soaps, shampoos, and shower gels was organised into which container was largest and were placed into rows on the brown marble counter. The towels were folded neatly and placed on a shelf. Even the toilet and sink sparkled pure white.

I took my clothes off and placed them on the toilet seat. I was left standing in just my matching black lace bra and underwear. I unhooked my bra and pulled it off then I slid my pants down to my ankles and stepped out of them. I picked them up and put them with the rest of my clothes.

I shivered from the cold as I pulled open the glass sliding door of the shower. I stepped in and turned the nozzle. The warm water instantly hit me.

"Just what I needed." I said to myself.

I relaxed in the shower and let the water warm me up.
