Keyonn P.O.V
It's been a couple of days since somebody broke in Chance house and he's been staying at my place. I would be lying if I said I was ready for him to go. It was a Saturday morning and we were just lying in the bed chilling.
"BOOOOOOOOO!"
I heard my best friend Kali say. I really didn't want her to see Chance and I like this because I know she was going to make all the assumptions.
“I’ll be back Chance" I said getting out of the bed. Once I flip the cover I noticed he didn't have anything but boxers on.
"See something you like baby" Chance said licking his lips.
“Stop being nasty Chance" I said blushing and walking away. As I was walking down the stairs on my condo I was met by a pissed Kali.
" What’s wrong, Kali Love ?" I said pinching her cheeks.
"Bitch first I don't see nor smell any breakfast cooking, then you pinch my cheeks. You just asking for an ass whopping" Kali said hugging me.
"My bad I been laying in the bed all day" I said think of the morning Chance and I had. No we didn't have sex, but we cuddled, chilled, and watched cartoons just like old times.
"Bitch What ? Why you blushing ? Who in the damn house ?" Kali said looking at me. I didn't know what to say, and I had to come up with a quick lie.
"Hmmm, nobody nigga I just didn't feel like getting out of the bed. No come on so I can make you some breakfast." I said walking down the rest of the stairway. I looked back to see if Kali was behind me and I should have known her noisy ass was lurking around.
“Keyz you know yo ass was never able to lie to me. No ether you tell me who behind the door, before I find out for my damn self." Kali said pointing at my bedroom door.
"Kali no one’s here other than you and I." I said sighing quickly getting nervous. It’s not that I was hiding Chance, I just knew my best friend and her ass was going take it out of proportion. And to make the matter worst I knew he didn't have any clothes on, and Kali would've thought we had sex. When actuality I wasn't ready for that at all.
“OH ! It don't even matter because I'm about to walk in this bitch my damn self." Kali said twisting the knob and pushing my bedroom door open.
Before I could say anything all I heard was “Punk Ass Chance”, I rushed into the bedroom because they ain't like each other since we were little. When I walk into the room Kali and Chance were so close, you would have thought they were about to kiss.
“Ayeee, Chill ! Kali come down stairs with me, so I can make breakfast." I said trying to pull Kali out of the room.
"Aitee, you better be lucky a bitch hungry because I would personally beat yo ass." Kali said smacking the back of Chance's head with her free arm
."DAMNIT KALI ! You better be lucky you got a pussy or I'll beat yo ass myself, Keyz you better get her." Chance said rubbing the back of his head and pointing in Kali face. I finally got Kali down the staircase and into the kitchen.
“Why yall can't get along?" I said curiously. This animosity towards each other had no true meaning in my eyes and I wanted to know what the fuck really happen between these two.
“I’m playing with his punk ass, I just like making him mad because I know I can." Kali said laughing while handing me all the ingredients for a wonderful breakfast. I put the bacon and sausage in the oven, while the water was boiling for the grits.
"So why the fuck Chance naked in yo bed?" Kali said breaking the silence.
“He wasn't naked, he had on boxers and we were just watching cartoons, just like old times." I said smiling staring in no particular place.
" Awhhh, burnin'ole flames !" Kali said being dramatic as hell.
" What does that even mean?" I said blushing while stirring the pancake mix.
" Keyz you know as well I do yall, when you and Chance were little yall were in love. I mean he protected you from every damn thing, and you had his back through it all. Hence burnin'ole flames." Kali said laughing.
“Whatever you saying Kali Love, just try and get along pleaseeeee." I said begging Kali.
"Whatever, just fix my plate, I'm fucking hungry." Kali said walking away. I thanked her and began to pile all the breakfast food on Kali's plate. I went into the dinner room and sat the plate in front of Kali. When I looked into her eyes all I saw was lust, and that made me laugh hard as fuck. You can't really love food that damn much, and the bad part about it was she wasn't even a big girl. I went upstairs to let Chance know breakfast was finished, but when I got to the door I heard Chance talking on the phone.
"What's the fuck you mean you pregnant?" Chance said yelling onto the phone. I was heartbroken when I heard he got a girl pregnant. I just walked away from the door and back to the dinner room. I guess Kali was wrong, we weren't Burnin'ole Flames.
Chance P.O.V
"What you mean you pregnant?" I said talking to one of my old hoes. I really didn't want to deal with this shit because i was trying to go the distance with Keyonn. I really loved him and I knew he would always have my back. Once I was finished talking I hung up and made my way to the kitchen, yo boy was hungry as fuck. Once I made it past the living room I heard Keyonn and Kali talking .
"He was on the phone with some hoe, and I guess she told him she was pregnant." Keyonn said sounding depressed.
"Keyz, to be honest yall aren't together, I, mean I know you love him and all but at the end of the day this was before you. I can't believe I'm taking up for his punk ass, but it is what it is." Kali said. I didn't know he was listening to my conversation.
"Well I guess you were wrong, there will be no burnin'ole flames, just a candle that's slowly during." Keyonn said sounding like he was crying.
