An hour later Aiden and I headed off to the carnival downtown. We bought our bracelets for free passes.
We headed to the darts and balloons stand and Aiden won me a life sized Minion plush toy that was so adorable. We walked to a roller coaster as he gave me a kiss on the cheek. We walked towards this terrifying roller-coaster called The Twister.
We sat in the front row and the engineer grabbed the restraints and put it around our stomachs so we were latched in. The ride made a quick jerk and then we slowly ascended the first hill so the thrill could begin. The whole time Aiden was squeezing my hand to assure me that it was okay as long as he was there with me.
All these thoughts were flowing through my head. What if Trey were to kidnap me? Is he really that crazy? I was so worried but then my thoughts were interrupted by us going down the hill at at least 60 miles per hour! Aiden and I screamed at the same time, but it wasn't for terror or fear it was excitement.
After we got out of the ride we went to eat at a concession stand to let our adrenaline run down. We had chicken nuggets and fries with funnel cakes. Which is the main reason we eat at carnivals. Then we went on the Ferris Wheel, it is almost 9:00 I can't believe we have been her for 6 hours already I guess times flies when you're having fun.
Then out of nowhere, I heard my name being called, "Emily! Hey, Em remember little old me?"
I whipped my head around to see none other than Trey. Yeah, he was right here, thinking of the thoughts that occurred in my head earlier... I don't know what to think. What could he possibly do? I mean we are in the public.
"Wha-what do you want?" I said coldly.
"Oh, I just wanted to say hi. C'mon you know we're friends,right?"
He took a step closer and Aiden took a step in front of me so he could block me protectively. I appreciates that.
"AWH look it's little tough Aiden, really Emily? This is how you fight back? Get your big "tough" boyfriend in front of you so you can cower behind him. Wow you have always been weak. Still are."
"Just go away Trey and we won't bother you. We are leaving anyway."
"No, I don't think I will. You can't do anything about it anyway."
"Yes we can. If you don't leave we'll call security."
"Fine. But I'll be back for you, love." He said to me and walked past us with a smirk.
"C'mon he is just bluffing with us. Let's go home." Aiden assured me.
I nodded and walked with him holding my hand tight with paranoia. Even as he said I could tell he didn't even believe his own words. All that went through my mind was What was Trey capable of? Could he really do this to me? And if he does then what would he do after that?
