My friends were looking at me confused and I could see jealously in the boys eyes. Shrugging it off, I smiled at my old friends.
"I told you I had a surprise!" Jason said.
"That was the best surprise ever!" I said.
"WHEEZY!" Sky shouted.
"ROSS!" Ross shouted.
"Hi Aph!" Jin said.
"Hi dirts," Barney said.
"Whats up Aph?" Max asked.
"Hi Mad Max," I grinned.
"Jess......" Max said.
"What Mad Max? Don't be Mad or Sad Max! Be Glad Max!" I teased.
"JESS! DONT CALL ME MAD MAX!" Max shouted.
"Sorry Mad Max," I said.
"THATS IT!" Max shouted.
I screamed and hid behind Jason.
"Max, please don't kill my sister," Jason laughed.
Max growled, but soon calmed down.
"Anyway! Guys, this is the sky army. Sky, Ross, Jin, Barney, Max, Shelby!" I said.
"You mean the you tubers?" Katelyn asked.
"Uhh.... Yes....." I said.
"Sky army, this is Garroth, Laurance, Dante, Travis, Vlyad, Zane, Jeffory, Katelyn, Kawaii~Chan, Nicole, cadenza, Lucinda and Aaron," I said.
They all greeted each other. I sighed, happily and turned to Shelby.
"I'm so happy you're all here," I said.
"I'm so happy to see you again!" Shelby squealed.
Everyone looked at us and flinched at Shelby's voice.
"Oops, sorry," Shelby apologised.
I laughed.
"Aph, can I talk to you?" Aaron asked.
I nodded and followed him to another tree.
"Are these the friends you were telling me about in school?" He asked.
"Yep! I can't believe Jason did this!" I said.
Aaron smiled.
"I know I just met you, but I'm glad your happy now," Aaron said.
"Aww, thanks Aaron! It's you who convinced me to make friends, so I owe it all to you!" I said.
I gave him a quick hug.
"Come on, we should go back now," I said.
I didn't notice the slight blush on his face and I walked back to our friends.
"So, what does everyone want to do?" I asked.
"We need to unpack so..." Sky said.
"Wait...You're moving?!" I shrieked.
"Yep!" Jin said.
"Omg yes!" I shouted.
"OK Jess, calm down," Jason laughed.
I laughed too.
"Anyway, see you later!" The guys said.
"Jess, we're filming later if you want to come," Ross whispered as he walked by.
I nodded at him and he smiled and followed the others.
"I still can't believe I have to live with them," Shelby sighed.
"I honestly feel bad for you," I laughed.
Jason stared at me as if he knew what I was thinking.
"It'll be fun though having everyone here," Shelby said.
I nodded. We all hung out for a while until everyone left.
"Jess, you coming?" Jason asked. "I'm going to Laurence's."
"I'm gonna stay here for a bit," I said.
He nodded and everyone left leaving me alone. I went  deeper into the park and found the tree I sit in. It had a branch that was easy to sit on. I climbed up and sat thinking.
What you thinking about?
"Aaaah!" I said, nearly falling out the tree.
It was just Crystal, who had appeared in front of me. I didn't bother speaking telepathically.
Sorry!
"It's ok."
You look worried.
"I am."
Why?
"You know, him."
Oh. Maybe you could run away?
"Are you crazy?! He'd kill me!"
Hmm.
"Jess, is that you?" A familiar voice said.
It was Jin!
"Uhh, yeah!" I replied.
"Come down," He said.
Sighing, I jumped out of the tree. He jumped back.
"Who were you talking to?" He asked.
"Umm. No one, I mean myself?" I said.
"You're a terrible liar," He said.
"I know," I sighed.
"What did you mean by 'he'll kill me'?" Jin asked.
"I-I-I," I started.
Suddenly, I burst into tears. Jin looked concerned and pulled me into him. I buried my face into his chest and carried on sobbing. After a while, I stopped and we sat on the grass. He had his arm around my shoulders.
"Now, tell me whats wrong," He said.
I told him everything about my Dad and my life. I obviously left out Irene and powers and Crystal.
"Omg Jess. How long?" He asked.
"Since I was five, I think," I admitted.
"So you were abused when we met you?" He asked.
I nodded. He pulled me into another hug.
"I'm so sorry Jess," He said.
"Its alright," I said.
"Do you want to come to ours for a bit?" He asked.
"No, I need to go home. Please don't tell anyone about my dad, I don't want them in danger," I pleaded.
"Fine, but if you need to talk, I'm here," He said.
"Thanks Jin," I said, hugging him.
We both stood up and left the forest. His house was first, so we said goodbye and I carried on walking home. As I walked through the door, I was instantly grabbed and pushed onto the sofa.
"I need to talk to you," He said, aggressively.
"Ok," I answered.
"You need to get a job because you need to pay to stay under my roof and I'm not wasting another penny on you," He demanded.
"Fine," I said.
He moved out of the way, so I could stand up. As I began to walk upstairs, he pulled me back by my hair.
"Where do you think your going?" He asked.
"To my room," I said.
He growled and pinned me to the wall. Before he could start anything, Jason walked through the door.
"Dad, what are you doing?" Jason asked, alarmed.
"Nothing, just go to your room," He said.
"Wait. Can I invite my friends in?" Jason asked.
"Of course you can. You outside. You can sleep out there until you get a job," Dad growled, pushing me out of the back door.
He slammed the door and with tears in my eyes, I went to the tree in our garden and climbed up it. I might as well sleep here so I'm off the ground and trees are my second home anyway. I saw through the door, the Sky army walk in and my Dad greet them cheerfully. I sighed and closed my eyes, not wanting to look at the house anymore.

Jason POV

The Sky army walked in after me after I watched Jess being forced outside.
"Hello guys! I haven't seen you in a while!" Dad said to them.
The Sky army nodded and smiled at him.
"We'll be in my room, Dad," I told him.
"Ok son," He said.
I lead the way up the stairs and into my room.
"Where's Jess?" Jin asked.
"Oh, she must be still in the forest or shopping with friends from school or something," I replied.
Jin looked at me and mouthed 'I know about your dad' when no one was looking. I pointed at the window. Jin went to the window, as the rest of us started up a conversation.

Jin POV

I stared out of the window and nearly gasped when I saw Jess in the tree, trying to sleep. I felt so bad for her, she doesn't deserve this. I sighed, unable to do anything and joined the others.

~Time Skip~

Aphmau POV

I could hear birds chirping loudly in my ear, as I opened my eyes. It was still early in the morning, but I climbed down the tree and wrote a note on the table outside.
Dear Dad,
I've gone to find a job. I'll be back later with a job and you can beat me as much as you want, but I had to leave this morning.
Jess x
I opened the door silently and left it on the kitchen table. I crept up the stairs and quickly got changed and grabbed my phone, which I had left charging. I grabbed some spare money I kept for emergencies in case I was out all day and needed food and left the house. Breathing out, I walked down the street, not knowing someone was watching me. I found a poster stuck on a lamp post and read it carefully.
Do you think you can sing?
Do you want to win £1000?
Then, come and take part in the competition at the show cafe which hosts singing acts ever night!
I read it a few times before deciding to go and test my singing skills. I was told by Shelby I could sing, as she was the only person I would sing in front of. It was 11:45, so I still had 45 minutes until the competition started. I sat on a nearby bench and put ear phones in my phone to listen to a song.
"What are you doing here?"
I looked up and pulled my ear phones out. It was Cadenza.
"Oh, hey!" I said.
She sat beside me.
"I was just getting out of the house," I said.
"Same, Laurence is annoying me," She laughed.
I laughed with her.
"Anyway, it's Monday tomorrow. School, yay," I said, sarcastically.
"It'll be better now we're your friends! You can sit near one of us in your lessons, hopefully me, and all the boys seem to like you, so that's a plus too!" She said.
"I guess it'll be alright and I promise to sit with you in as many lessons as possible, but I don't believe the boys liking me," I laughed.
"They totally do. Also, yay! About sitting with me I mean. I think we'll be the best of friends," Cadenza insisted.
"So do I. You've grown on me a lot," I admitted.
"Aww! Anyway, I need to go! Bye!" She said, walking away.
"Cya!" I called.
I checked the time. 12:15. Right, I better get going then.
