Two weeks have gone by and Deidara has become more annoyed with Lawrence. Lawrence has been flirting a lot with Sumi and has tried his best to make her laugh and make Deidara jealous and what annoyed Deidara even more was that Tobi stopped following Deidara around and stopped calling him "Senpai" and started to follow Lawrence instead and started to call Lawrence "Law Senpai". Tobi also enjoys being around Lawrence as Law spoils him with cookies and sweets and also acts extra nice towards Tobi, to the point where Tobi even said in front of Deidara to Lawrence that "Law Senpai is Nice to Tobi because Tobi is a good boy and Deidara was always strict to me".
Although Sumi appreciated Lawrence being nice to her all the time and brought her gifts and tried extra hard to please her, there was something about Deidara that attracted her to him, he was the first Akatsuki member she became close with and ended up becoming friends with, but lately she was upset that Deidara ignored her because of Lawrence.
Deidara sort of gave up in a way as he thought if Sumi liked him enough just the way he likes her then she would come to him, but Sumi being Sumi she didnt she was too shy and nervous and sort of let Lawrence push her around and with all the jinchuriki missions going on Deidara became extra busy so she hardly got to spend time with him.
=Later that Night=
Deidara has returned from his mission, him and sasori were told to capture the one tailed jinchuriki which was successful, however leaf shinobi and the nine tailed jinchuriki saved the one tailed host and Sasori was defeated by the leaf ninja and his grandmother chino and now Deidara has no arms as the one tailed Jinchuriki Gaara destroyed one hand and Kakashi Hatake the copy ninja destroyer his other arm.
-BACK AT THE HIDEOUT-
Deidara has just arrived back at the base, he is leaning against the entrance of the cave whilst the rest of the akatsuki are either asleep or some of them are out on their assigned missions. Deidara is upset as Sasori has died and even though Deidara did not understand or agree with Sasori's view on art he still thinks Sasori was offered a death that an artist was worthy of.

it was now 3am and Deidara was still rested against the cave entrance and closed his eyes to relax. As Deidara's eyes were closed and tears ran down his face he suddenly felt warmth against his face. Deidara quickly shot his eyes open pulling a kunai out with his mouth in a sudden flash of speed. He couldn't believe it...it was Sumi.
