I stared at the computer screen for a moment or two second too long

Then before I know what I'm doing, I'm up and walking away

My mind is racing with a million thoughts, making it hard to think.

I open the cold metal door, revealing a winter wonderland

A dark and twisted thought crosses my mind, 'What if I just get lost in the snow?'

I shiver the feeling away and step out side

The numbness consumes my toes immediately, but I proceed

I walk into the forest, a bright full moon illuminating my path perfectly

Hugging myself tightly, a singe thought repeating in my mind

"It's a character flaw. You don't want people to get close so you be the bitch to push them away"

Who knew it would work, but who knew the hollow feeling would follow?

Its your own  fault..... Always your fault....... No one ever proved to you that they could stay

Suddenly the forest starts to take on a new light

The leaves and trees start to sway under the weight of the snow, like they're dancing

I feel so numb, that I don't realize I've walked too far

Or maybe I  knew all along I had.....

I finally take my eyes off the ground and look at the white land in front of me

I stare at it beauty till something even more mesmerizing catches my eye.

He's dressed in dark blue and dazzling sliver.

Black silk like hair is drape around his face making him look like a dream

He has a beckoning smile, that seems to drawn me in

I don't care who he is, or what he's doing in the middle of no where.

I follow him.......

He flutters away, but never getting too far from me

I giggle as he reaches his hand out and just before I touch it, he pulls it back

We wander for hours, and I start to feel my body react violently to the cold

I stop, a little scared to continue, but when I look into his eyes I realize I must keep going

I barely notice when the ground suddenly  became harder and not as cold

His beautiful face turns me to the side and suddenly he's illuminated with light

It's so beautiful that I must get closer

He out stretched his arms and embraced me, then everything I felt was gone

A small family go about their normal morning routine, the local news playing in the background. The mom sits gracefully down on the couch straining to hear the breaking report. The anchor lady motions her hand to the coroner of the screen where the picture of a pretty teenage girl appears. "This morning police found the remain of one, Juliet Fairfeild, on route 223. It would seems she was ran over by an unknown assailant. There were no traces of drugs or alcohol in her system, so suiside was ruled out. The funeral will be held this Saturday, at 1 pm. All are welcome to come and pay their respects...."
