"Whoa, whoa, whoa. Hold the phone. What does this have to do with the two horse we're trying to catch?" I question out loud after I finish reading the book. Flipping through the book. Some of its pages in the back were torn out. While others had been marked out by some type of ink.
"I thought that at first so I did some research and I found a couple hints online." Taylor answers before kneeling down. She then takes out a notebook from her bag, before tossing the bag to the ground.
Following suit, I crouch next to her while Sam lays in the grass playing with her tail.
"So I looked at some maps people posted and I think the festival was held in a town called Rechilor. Which is south of Zabrina and its near the Ucripten mountains." She informs me before flipping through her book some more.
"Think about it. The book clearly states that fire and ice lost their powers in a mountain pass and we found this book near the Ucripten mountains. Also these are the only mountains on this continent." Sam speaks up for where she laying in the grass.
"Ok. Let's say hypothetically that what you guys say is true. What are we going to do next? You both know that you need to be level twenty or above to go through those mountains. How are we going to get through?" I ask and Sam smiles at me.
"Don't worry we got that covered, but first we need to head to Rechilor to see if it's really true." Sam tells me before going back to watching the sky.
"I also found one more thing..." Taylor speaks up causing me to turn and look at her. Giving her a look she continues on.
"One of the books posted online. Had a section about gods, goddess and demigods." She say then pauses as if debating weather to tell me or not.
"So. What about them?" I ask carefully now nervous about what's she going to say next. Whenever Taylor pauses when explaining something. It means I'm probably not going to like what she says next.
"Well. Under the demigod section were the names Ashkenze and Belltrixs." Taylor gulps as I start at her blankly. Demi... Gods....demigods?
"Wait!? So you're saying we are actually trying to find two demigods. Which I might add have be around longer then us?" I practically shout out causing sam to sit up and Taylor flinch beside me.
"Whoa, calm down girl. It's not that bad." Sam try's to reason with me.
Calm down? Calm down! You don't just tell someone that they are really chasing demigods instead of horses and not expect them to freak out on top of telling them to calm down. Who the hell does that! Oh wait my friends do apparently.
"Yeah it's not that bad.... I mean we don't even know if their demigods or not...." Taylor rambles on as I clinch and unclinch my hands.
Wait a minute. She's right, nothing's set in stone. We could be wrong.... Yeah we're probably wrong. After coming to the conclusion that were probably wrong I start to calm down.
Noticing my mood change Taylor stops rambling about stupid stuff and Sam let's out a sigh.
"Sorry." I mumble as my cheeks heat up in embarrassment. I avoid their eyes as I try to look anywhere but them.
"That's ok pumpkin, anyway let's get going. It'll take at least three days to get to Rechilor. That's only if we don't take any breaks. Which will never happen cause this girl needs her breaks." Sam says before getting up off the ground.
After all our things were gathered we walked for awhile before the wind picked up. The tree's leaves around us started crinkling as the wind rushed past them. While the wind Pushed and pulled the tree branches, the trees danced back and forth as we continue on our way. The grass also sways along with them as the whole earth came to life.
