•The one with escaped spiders•

"Aaron, what are you doing?"

I had just finished up clearing the glass shards spread on the floor like a mattress. Tyler had been given the responsibility to keep an eye on the three kids, while Aaron helped me clean.

"Nothing," Aaron said innocently. But when he turned to face me again, he had mayo around his mouth. The moustache-like form of the mayo told me that it had been put there intentionally.

"Is it all clean?" Tyler poked his head into the kitchen.

"Yeah," I replied. "What about the kids?"

"Milo and Hunter fell asleep." Tyler said. "Wes is reading his comic book."

"Why don't we order pizza?" Aaron suggested. "I'm feeling kind of hungry. And we could watch a movie or something."

Tyler looked at his brother. "Aaron, why do you have mayo all over your face? You're looking like an idiot."

"No, he's not." I disagreed immediately. "Aaron, you look extremely handsome." I picked up the broom from the floor. "You guys order pizza, I'll go and put this back."

I left the two of them in the kitchen and went to put the broom away. I checked on Wes who seemed to be lost in his book. When I returned to the kitchen, I expected Tyler and Aaron to be bickering over which pizza to order. I turned out to be wrong.

I found two teenagers with mayonnaise moustaches making scary faces at each other.

I leaned against the door, arms folded on my chest as I watched the two brothers play ghost.

"No see, if you show your teeth you don't look scary because your teeth are completely human, okay?" Aaron told Tyler. "Instead, just growl deep in your throat and throw your hands up like a zombie."

"Zombies don't throw their hands up," I interrupted, hiding my grin.

"How would you know that?" Tyler challenged. "Have you ever met a zombie? Are you a zombie?"

"I might not be one, but I'm sure zombies look better than that," I gestured to the mayo on Tyler and Aaron's faces. "This just makes you look adorable."

Aaron shared a glance with Tyler. Tyler gave Aaron a curt nod in reply. "Joey, would you like to be adorable with us?" Aaron questioned, picking up the mayo and slowly walking in my direction, Tyler following behind.

I backed away as he came closer. "Aaron, I'm already adorable. I don't want to look more adorable. Seriously, take that mayo away from me." Deciding that I wasn't being fast enough, I ran out of the kitchen and into the living room. "Wes! Wes, you gotta save me."

Wes looked up from his comic. "What are you guys doing?" One look at Aaron and Tyler's mayonnaise streaked faces was enough to make him understand.

"Wes, quickly, throw pillows at them," I commanded, dodging one of Tyler's attempts to get close. Aaron had me surrounded from the other side and Wes was being of no help whatsoever.

"I don't believe in fighting with my elder brothers," Wes sent a Zen look to me and disappeared out of the living room with his comic book. "You kids enjoy. I'm going to find some peace and quiet for myself."

"Wes, don't leave me with these monsters!" I tried to call Wes, but that traitor grinned at me and disappeared. "Do not get that mayonnaise near me."

"Did you hear that, Aaron?" Tyler feigned an innocent face. "Did Joey just say something?"

"I don't think so, Tyler," Aaron replied.
