~{The Next Morning}~
{Lucas' POV}
I woke up earlier than Lyra. I get out of her arms and get dressed for an interview. I leave a note saying 'Lyra I have gone to an interview don't freak out I'll be back meanwhile breakfast is in the microwave. ~Love Lucas, P.S. Take care of that amazing body for me ;)'. I then precede to make breakfast and eat my plate. I kiss Lyra's forehead and head out to go to my interview.
{Lyra's POV}
I wake up and Lucas isn't there. I see a note and I read it. I smile and put it down. I grab one of Lucas' button ups and I put that on. I head to the kitchen and grab breakfast and eat it. "Maybe I should clean up around here. Last night was amazing... Wait... No it won't be possible. Not yet. Let's clean up the place shall we!" I mumble to myself. I clean up the place and stare at myself in the mirror. 'How does someone love someone who looks like this? My hair is so greasy... I should shower.' I shrug and decide to take a shower. Just then as I am wrapped in a towel the door swings open and I hear a familiar voice. "Princess I'm home!!!" I run out and jump into his arms. "Welcome back!!!! I missed you!!" I say. He puts me down and kissed my forehead. "I missed you too princess. I think I got the job." He smiles. "Now let's watch that movie." He says undoing his tie and shirt, sitting down on the couch turning the tv on. "Okay!" I say getting in his lap. "How's my princess?" He asks. "Good" I smile kissing him. He moves me out of his lap and puts me in front of him as he gets up. "Forgot the popcorn." I wait for him to come back. He walks back hiding something behind his back holding a bowl of popcorn. "I know I should wait before I ask this question but..." He gets on his knee pulling out a little box, I quickly cover my mouth surprised, "Lyra will you marry me?" I nod "Yes!! Yes! YES!!" he puts the ring on my finger, hugging me. "I can't wait to start my life with you." He whispers into my ear. We sit back down and watch the movie, occasionally I would mess with the ring. 'It's really happening.'
The movie's almost over when my phone starts ringing. I jump scared by it, I quickly grab it an answer it. "Hello?" Lucas looks at me then goes back to watching the movie. "Lyra!! You answered!! You haven't came by and I got worried." "Leona! I'm sorry but you should come over some time! It'll be fun! I have some good news to tell you too." I smile "Okay I will just send me the address and I'll be there tomorrow." "Okay. I got to go see ya!" "See ya" She hangs up and I put my phone down, laying my head down on Lucas' shoulder. "Who was that?" He asks kissing my forehead. "Leona, my friend since high school, she's coming over tomorrow, so glad I cleaned up around here." I look up at him smiling. "That's great!" We both laugh and go back to watching the movie. I fall asleep on his shoulder.
{Lucas' POV}
'She must've been tired from cleaning all day' I pick her up and carry her to the bedroom. I lay her in bed, pulling the covers over her kissing her forehead, going back to the living room. I clean up our mess and turn the tv off. I take a shower and head to bed.
