Sounds Of Water

Mornings :(

This morning I wake up to my brother saying "reach for the sky" then he shot me with a nerf gun bout fifty times. It's eight am Nathan stop, he continues shooting me then slaps me "how dare you forget"

forget what?

"were gonna go fishing as in you and me catching redfish all day"

at that precise moment I shot out of bed and put on some pants then slapped Nathan back.

We grabbed the gear we needed and headed to my grandparents house.

It seemed weird, he is my older brother but he...well he is very short. he gets teased all the time about it, but hey he got one side of the family's genes and I got the other.

We got to my grandparents house. there house is a dome on stilts basically, but I want to live in it cause it's so beautiful where they are.

We grabbed paddles, fishing rods, life jackets (as if we where them) but my grandpa is always safe them sorry, and the tackle box. we hopped into the canoe and paddled to my favorite spot in the lake, a sand bar that a stream runs onto, I usually catch the most here.

I put on a yozuri Crystal minnow, a good lure if you ever go fishing in Florida.

We both started casting and on the first cast I hooked up to a nice red. I always catch more in the lake than my bro but he's a better hunter so it kinda evens out in the end. I got it in the boat and I knew it was to big to keep. I wanted a picture so we paddled as fast as we could across the lake to the house grabbed my iPod and snapped a couple pics. it turned out to be a 33 1/2 inch fish which 27 is the limit you can keep, so we released it.

After awhile of catching nothing we got in the car and blaring music headed to the beach. After we surfed we went to the fishing pier and there was this cute girl there, we kinda hit it off. Her name was Amanda, she had brown hair and Greene eyes. needles to say we talked and I got her number.

We texted the next day and we went to a little coffee shop in downtown and talked. She was really nice and funny.

"So if you were a animal what would you be?"

Hmm....def a cormerant.

"why?"

cause they can swim, dive, walk,and fly I said happily. what about you Amanda?

"a shark!"

And Why's that?

"so I can eat you when your swimming lolz"

we both laughed.

"crap"

what?

"I gotta go"

So one time my dad was fishing and he hooked a six foot alligator and landed it on ten pound test! pretty crazy if you ask me.
