Chapter 7 No nope uh uh never going to happen!

"so you mean to tell me that this man is my father?" I demanded pointing my finger at spirit accusingly as he was still in his dream land

Stein nodded while spirits eyes twinkled finally stepping out of his dream land like place "yes you are my darling daughter" he ran up to me trying to hug me

"Fuck off" I almost yell and turn my arms into blades threatening to cut him into little tiny spirit pieces "like hell you are my fucking father you red head womanizer who is lead around by your magic wand".

spirit went into a ball besides Lord Death and started muttering about his daughters not loving him and how he is a good father to them. ha good father my ass.

"Kana language" stein said trying to hold back a smirk that clearly was tugging the side of his face making me want to punch him in the face or kick him where the sun does not shine.

"ok Stein how long have you know about Mr Daddy Dear" I said putting as much sarcasm and venom in my voice as I could which almost had him flinching.

he shrugged of my words and said "a while now I just never found the right time"

"bullshit you didn't" I mutter then rolled my eyes "ok so were is my mother?" I asked with a hint of demand covering my words

"your mother is traveling around she recently got divorced" lord death said in his usual high pitch voice

"I see" I said calmly even though I was ready to rip them all apart

'father are you going to tell her the rest" kid asked with a nutral tone with a hint of "I hope he forgot"

"oh yes I was wondering Kana dear if you would marry my son" he said happily clapping his hands together

my eyes went as big a saucers "excuse me marry Kid?!"

he nodded "you see reapers are very rare and you are a very powerful meister and weapon so I thought it would be a good idea"

"no" I said calmly biting back my anger "I refuse to marry a person who I don't love" I turned on my heel and went back down the hallway and left the building. I headed to only place where I could be truly alone... the woods. I must have walked about twenty minutes before I got to the edge. when I finally got to the edge of the woods I ran. I ran till I could not run anymore and my shins burning with pain screaming for a brake even if it was just for a minute. I quickly swiveled my head around until I found a hole in the ground and buried myself underneath. the hole was formed from a old brown tree were its roots uplifted so it felt kind of like a cage. ironic huh.

I heard the crunching of the frozen ground and the sound of ice cracking underneath moving closer and closer to my prison like hole. I soon saw freshly polished black shoes. I hear the ruffling of fabric and the strange life form bent down. I pale faced reaper looked down at me "found you" he said like it was the most natural thing in the world

I glared at him "what do you want?" if looks could kill kid would be in the snow dead and me running as far as my long legs could carry me no matter how much in pain they were in.

"you to scoot over" he said calmly bending down to the entrance of my prison cell

I glared but shifted my body to one side of the holes dirt corners. kid slipped into the other side of the hole. he then started freaking out almost crying.

"kid what's wrong?" I asked hoping he did not have any clostraphobia problems

"this hole is asymmetrical" he cried out banging his fists against what little floor that was between us.

I started laughing "good"

he finally calmed down then looked at me "you know I didn't ask for this" he said trying to look into my eyes but u kept my gaze moving

I nodded looking at my hands that found a home on my lap "I know... it's just..."

"just what?" he asked turning his head to the side like a lost puppy dog

I sighed "I was a caged bird for the first few years of my life then I met Stein who raised me and trained me but I still felt caged but when I came here I finally had a bit of freedom. and now it feels like they are trying to cage me again" I watched my fingers slowly drum against my black skinny jeans that were now covered in snow and dirt

"no one is trying to cage you Kana" kid said

I sighed "it sure feels like it... kid I don't want to get married"

he almost laughed "don't worry Kana you wont have too"

I perked up "really?!"

he nodded "ill talk to my father so don't worry about it ok"

I smiled and hugged him tightly "thank you thank you thank you"

he awkwardly patted my back until I let go of him.

"kid how do you feel about the whole thing?" I asked

he shrugged "I kinda figured he would do this sometime soon"

I looked at him "kid that didn't answer my question"

he sighed "your my friend Kana and I only see you as a friend so i could never marry you"

i faked a frown and tears "what are you saying kid? that I'm not good enough for you" i let my "tears" roll down my face turning my cheeks red and my eyes start to puff.

"Kana its not like that..." kid started while moving his hands around in front of himself and his face getting a little pink

"ya i know its not kid" I smiled and hugged him "good because your a good friend kid and I want you to marry someone who will make you happy"

he nodded calming down and going back to his pale skin.

we decided to go talk to Lord Death about the whole thing. we walked side by side to DWMA. I smiled. my future was still in my hands to do whatever I wanted with it. i just hope that i don't have to have a forced marriage.

i looked over at kid. his face seemed calm but for some reason i could tell he was sad.

i poked his cheek "yo kiddo somethin' up?"

he looked at me with annoyance "don't call me that"

i pouted "sorry kid you just seemed pissed off. remind me to stay away from you during your time of the month"

"i am a dude i don't have a time of the month!" he was almost yelling his face turning red

"ya ya ya don't get your girly reaper panties in a twist" i waved him off as walked in front of him.

"i don't wear panties" he said his face reddening with embarrassment and anger

i held my hands in front of him in an X formation "woah dude TMI TMI!!!!"

his face reddened even more "oh I'm going to kill you kana"

"don't say things you don't mean honey" i yelled flirtingly as I was running from kid and to the building. but before i even got to the out skirts of town kid grabbed my waist pulling me to a stop.

"RAPE!!!!!!!!" i yelled. next thing i know kids on his floating skateboard and I'm tossed over on his shoulder like a bag of potatoes. "rape" i whisper but my body was shutting down on me from my lack of rest and constant running. soon my eyes closed and i feel asleep as kid floated back to the school with me still perched over his shoulder like a bag of potatoes.
