[Han]

"Merry Christmas, sir."

I nodded at the man as I walked past him. Christmas. Gag me. Call me a Scrooge if you want, but honestly Christmas isn't shit to me. I'm too lazy to go out and buy stuff for people. The only reason I was here was to get a present for one person.

Luke.

After all it was his first Christmas. I had already decided I'd give him my Justin Timberlake album, but I wanted to give him more. Something his new rich family hadn't already thought of giving to him. On the limited occasions when I'd get to call him, he'd tell me all the things that he and Leia did.

Leia turned him into some kind of weird fanboy of some sort. He's been going on and on about this show Game of Thrones, which I'd never found the interest to watch. And then she has him watching Supernatural as well. That I'd seen before, because one of Lando's kids watched it, but I'd only seen one or two episodes and I'd started on Season 11. Although I still had no interest in watching it.

But I didn't want to get him that stuff. I wanted to give him something that meant something to the both of us. Something funny that we could laugh back on in the future and think 'Oh, yeah I remember that, that was so funny' or some shit like that.

I felt weird feeling this way about Luke. I don't usually do this kind of stuff, but Luke is turning me into a sappy pile of romanticness...and I hate it.

After walking around for about two more hours I gave up and went home. Luke's present had to be perfect. Not some old CD. Besides everyone listens to music on their phones now. Not only had I failed in finding the perfect present, but also forgot to get Chewie some more dog food.

Today was not going the way I planned. That is until my phone rang. A picture of Luke at the beach, that his sister had took for him flashed on my screen. He was so cute in the picture. He was smiling and his hair was wet and sandy. His blue eyes were squinted from the sun shining in his eyes and he was in mid-fall from a wave crashing down on him.

I smiled and shook my head, later proceeding to answering the call. "Hey." I said.

"Hi, I was just calling because I...well I don't know what to get you a-and I-"

I laughed. "I've been looking for something for you all day, but I honestly wanted to get something significant to us."

"That's what I was trying to do, but I couldn't find anything. Christmas shopping is hard." Luke whined.

"How about this. I'm still giving you that Justin Timberlake CD, but don't get me anything and that's it."

"But-"

"Ah, ah, ah. Butts are for kissing. Don't get me anything. Repeat what I just said."

"But I heard you." Luke complained.

"I know you did, but I need to hear it from your mouth. What did I say?"

I could practically hear Luke roll his eyes. "You said not to get you any presents." He sighed.

"Good."
