Alice and the Mythical Dragon

Chapter 6

Jack handed Alice her bow. As they left the castle they had to sneak around to avoid Alice's parents. Finally they go to the entry way and ran all the way to the end of the village. Looking over both of their shoulders to make sure nobody was following them, they became relieved. Sometimes they had bad luck and had to run as far away as possible without leaving the village to get away. One time they got found trying to avoid Alice's parents and her dad was behind them and Jack had to leave and Alice was sent her room for the rest of that month.

"Where are we going." Alice asked.

But before Jack could answer the same black figure from earlier that day flew over the village. Again Alice's reflexes took action. Alice ran and hit Jack out into the thick woods along with herself. Then Alice got control of herself and runs back into town to get a better look at the figure. Once she got back into the village, she could just see the end of the figure. Alice ran after as fast as her legs could take her.

Jack got up and yelled to Alice "Where are you going." He started cashing after her.

But Alice was too far away to hear him. So she just keep running but going even faster to keep up with creature. She knew she would have to stop running soon but the creature was slowing down and she knew this was her only chance. Once the figure had stopped Alice slowed down. The figure was facing a mountain in the woods, which made Alice confused. Why was it there? What is going to happen? Should I go closer? All these questions were going though Alice's head. During all of this Jack was getting closer and closer. But right before he got close enough to Alice, a portal opened and sucked the figure and Alice into it. Jack was left alone. In the middle of the woods where his best friend just got sucked into a portal.
