When Alice woke up it was nearly noon. She was awaked by the noise of fire. She flew out of the bed onto the floor face forward. Then she jumped to her feet and flew out the door that leads outside. Finally, when she's a good 40 yards away, she turns and looks at the house. She realized that it was not the house she was in but the one down the block. She thought to herself Where am I. When I fell asleep last night I wasn't in a house near other houses. When through the window Alice could see Sam just getting up and doing the same thing Alice did, but in a more fashionable way. Soon Sam was right next to Alice then he went running down the street towards the burning house. Alice thought to herself Man he has a lot of explaining to do.
Jack was still trying to figure out where Alice went with his brother when they heard an announcement from the castle "We have just got work that Alice has gone on another trip. So you should not worry if you can not find her. I have been told she left the night of the same day that she came back. Jack knew that wasn't true. He saw Alice get sucked through a portal. Someone must have just told her that so she would stop worrying about her.
"Is that who you are looking for Jack? Well, if so then I guess we can go home. You are coming right." Ethan asked Jack.
"No, I'm not leaving until I find her. What that announcement is not true. I saw it my own eyes. She got sucked into a portal around here. If you want to go home you can but I'm going to stay here until I find her. So are you staying or are you going home? Jack asked.
Alice about took off running towards the burning house too, but then she heard a dragon groaning in distress. So Alice took off towards the dragon once she got there the dragon flew into a cave, so Alice followed it. Both of them were in the dark cave when Alice heard the sound of a baby dragon crying for its mother. Alice looked around a corner and saw a light. It was the mom dragon and the baby dragon with light shining above them. The mom dragon heard Alice and turned around to see Alice just standing there. Alice knew if she made another movement the dragon would go after. So she stayed put and sat on the floor of the cave. She was there for hours just watching. Finally, the dragon came over to her and sniffed her. Alice was going to stay in the cave for a whole nother day building up the relationship with the dragon mom so she could help take care of it. Once she had been the cave for two whole days the dragon came over to Alice and........
