"Listen here you little brats! If you think you can run around my school causing trouble, you have another thing coming. We don't tolerate troublemakers here! While you are here, you will act like proper students or be expelled immediately!" He screamed, pushing his fat face into Aki's. Her eyes were watering. I could tell why from where I was sitting.
DEAR LORD DID HIS BREATH STINK! It smelled like death itself combined with burnt tomato, onion and chili. Aki's face was so pale, I thought she was going to pass out on the spot. I didn't like the way this guy was pressing his face close to Aki's either. Right before I took action, he moved away, giving my twin her personal space back.
"Yes sir. We understand. We will leave now." I said, trying to get her out of there as fast as possible. Besides, we were going to miss homeroom if this kept up.
I had to half drag Aki to get her out of there. I could practically taste her sickness. Oh Jesus. This was bad.
I propped her up against a locker. "Come on. You can't get sick! Please Aki!" I said. That seemed to snap her out of her daze.
"Hurry up Neo! We're gonna be late for homeroom!" She said, taking off down the halls.
I ran to catch up with her, and we arrived at our homeroom. I walked in first, as always. She came in next. We stood at the front of the classroom. The teacher told us to introduce ourselves. I let Aki do most of the talking for this.
"Hi. My name is Aki, and this is Neo. Don't bother us, and we won't bother you."
The teacher told us our seats, and I automatically noticed a problem. They were across the room from each other. It seems Aki noticed it too, for she paused in her steps.
"No. That won't do." We said at the same time. I think the teacher found it creepy, for she blinked at us. "We won't be separated."
"It would be good for you to interact with other kids. Expand your horizon and make some new friends." She said, once again blinking at us.
"Listen. I. Will. Not. Be. Separated. From. Her." I said, enunciating each word clearly.
"But-" The teacher began.
"Nope. Aki, I'm done with this. We can find a better school. One that won't separate us. I'm not going to sit over there, even if it's just for a little while. Let's go." I said, taking her hand and dragging her out of the classroom, making sure to give the wooden door a good slam.
I kept dragging her down the long corridor, until some lean kid who looked like a jock stopped us. "Hall pass?" He questioned.
"We were just leaving." I said, trying to drag Aki by the guy and get out of here as quick as possible.
"I can't let you go without a hall pass. Sorry dude."
"You seem like a nice person. I don't want to cause unnecessary violence."
Aki was just standing there. She usually would go if I told her I didn't want to be there. I focused my attention back on the guy.
"-principals office."
"I don't have time for this." I said, swiping his feet out from underneath him. I then took off towards the exit, leaving the kid on the ground groaning.
