Hera P.O.V
We received a new mission. An unexpected one for that fact. We heard hope in a message delivered to us. It stated that Ahsoka may be alive after the her last battle. Our crew had received a transmission from Malacore, and once I mentioned it to both Kanan and Ezra, we agreed to leave right away. It was time to get the original fulcrum back. I remember their reactions. Once I released the information, everyone was happy, especially Ezra. Now he may see he has nothing to blame himself for.Ezra P.O.V
I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Ahsoka's alive, after all this time. Thank the force. Is it still my fault, because she was stuck out there this whole time with nothing. Could she really have survived?Sabine P.O.V
Karabast. Do they really believe Ahsoka's alive? From what Kanan told us, the temple blew up, with both Ahsoka and the sith still inside. Something doesn't feel right in this situation. Maybe I should warn them.~Later that day~
Ezra: That's crazy Sabine.
Sabine: Think about. It didn't even sound like her. It was dark, like if it was actually someone or something evil behind the transmission.
Ezra: All the fulcrum agents sound exactly the same. They use some voice manipulation tech so no one can identify them.
Sabine: Ezra!? Why do you think the message said to bring the Jedi? Why Jedi? Why not rebels to help?
Ezra: Because Ahsoka needs us specifically.
Sabine: No. Whoever this is, they need you and Kanan. Listen to me. It's a trap. Believe me.
Ezra: I won't. I can't. Leaving Ahsoka to die for Kanan and I was all my fault, and now I have a chance to make things right. For the price we paid in that mission, I can't.
Sabine: If Ahsoka were alive, don't you think she would have come back? After all this time, she contacts us now?
Ezra: And what if she couldn't before? What if she was captured or stranded?
Sabine: Fine. Do what you want, but when things don't turn out the way you wanted, don't say I didn't warn you.
~At the mission~
Ezra: She wasn't there. It was all a lie.
Kanan: We have to get out of here. Chopper, tell Hera to get ready for take off.
Ezra: Wait, what about Sabine? She was supposed to meet us some time ago.
Kanan: She'll catch up with us. She's setting the last of the explosives.
Sabine: Hey, over here.
Kanan: You found out it was a trap?
Sabine: I knew it was a trap from the beginning. Where's Chopper?
Kanan: Getting us a pick up.
Ezra: Guys watch out!
3rd Person P.O.V
Sabine had been right, and this was the point where Ezra had not only realized it, but would also regret everything. Seeing the danger coming their way, he used the force to push Sabine out of the way and to Kanan.Sabine: What the force?
Kanan: The Sith.
Ezra: Sabine, run!
Sabine ran with Kanan covering her. The Sith knew otherwise. While he knew the Jedi were distracted with their friend escaping, the sith took a new approach. He started force choking Sabine, with both Kanan and Ezra looking in horror.
Sabine: Help me.
Ezra: Leave her alone. Your fight's with me.
The Sith looks at Ezra, taking his threat seriously. He then throws Sabine to a wall ready to fight the young jedi.
Vader: There.
Ezra: Sabine!!! Kanan?!
Kanan: I got her. Watch your back.
~Minutes after fighting~
Ezra: That's right, you better run. No one hurts my family or the girl I love.
Kanan: Ezra, come here.
Ezra walked to Kanan, thinking that everything was now alright. Sadly, what he saw was the opposite. Ezra had no words.
Ezra: Oh no.
~Inside the Ghost~
Ezra: She was right. I should have listened. This is all my fault.
